BEWARE WOMEN!! this is an auto body shop that tries to take advantage of you by assuming you don’t know anything about cars. Took my car in to only get an emissions test as was needed to renew my tags. After 3 hours, they give me my pass on emissions but let me know my battery is bad and won’t last through the winter. This was last summer. Mind you, I didn’t want or need anything else in my car inspected or checked out. Would’ve rather been done with it in the 10 minutes it takes to do an emissions test.
The look on their face when I responded that was interesting bc my battery was replaced only 2 months prior to me bringing my car in for my emissions test. They stumbled a bit with their words but insisted it would die over the winter during a really cold morning. Guess what didn’t happen? My brand new battery did not die over the winter. A year after their inspection, battery is doing just fine.
Shame on you for trying to scam women.

This place was SO helpful. I've been having issues with my car and Gravois Auto repair turned me away with wrong information. These guys were quick to get me in amd it was so comforting to know that this whole time it was only a battery jumped cable that was faulty. I am so thankful for Christian Brothers!!!!!!

Brought our Tahoe Here because they could work us in sooner than anyone else for a state inspection. We were told that it failed because of excessive wear in the lower ball joints. They said it would be almost $1400 to fix. We declined and I took it to a different location and told them to inspect it. We gave them the failed inspection report after inspecting it the shop Forman told us that there was very little wear in the ball joints and they said that they see this scam happen all the time. Needless to say it passed inspection with no problems. BEWARE OF CHRISTIAN BROTHERS AUTO!!!!!!
I feel that the name brings in elderly people and they rip them off with no one being the wiser. I am only doing this review to warn other people. I am not disgruntled as I got my car inspected in another place without a problem. I do worry about the next person that comes there that’s going to be taken advantage of. A lot of people do not know anything about cars, and they will pray on them without a doubt.
A sidenote to Christian brothers you don’t need to answer my message. I already called you and you said I had to take it to the state inspection place to have them look at it and if there was something done wrong, you would get a reprimand. You would think you would take it in jack it up and inspect it to see if the mechanic was trying to rip us off if you really cared about your customers. You would not pass it off to the state. You know most people will not do that so you just keep on going on with what you are doing.
Again, beware of this business. You should always get a second opinion.

Very helpful and friendly. Repaired a part on my car as a "service to customer" that was still under warranty, even though there was a slight question.
They also drove me to a local Dunkin Donuts to wait for the service repair to be completed and picked me back up. I highly recommend them.
The best part is they give a detailed report to you listing suggested repairs IN ORDER OF PRIORITY.

They got us in and taken care of all in the same day when other places gave us the run around. They told us exactly what needed to be done as well as a few recommendations without being pushy. Friendly and professional staff. Very reasonable prices for the work we had done! Definitely going to stick with them for future work on our vehicles!

I can't imagine why anyone who likes their car would bring here. Envision monkeys with razor blades and wrenches having a go at your car. My water pump went out. My brother was visiting from Texas and said he would take it to Christian Brothers to get it fixed. My response was that I had heard only bad things about this place and I would rather have it towed to my trusted mechanic in High Ridge. I am picky about who works on my car because a bad mechanic can really mess up your car. My brother insisted that he and his wife take their cars to Christian Brothers in Texas and never had any problems. So sadly, I relented. They replaced the water pump, $625.00. My brother picked up the car up that afternoon when they called and said it was 'fixed'. He pulled in the driveway and I can hear a loud whining noise. I told him it needs to go back to the shop. I'm thinking, what mechanic cannot hear that noise? What good mechanic would hear the noise and say that it was repaired correctly? It went back the next day, $1250.00 this time. I'm shaking my head thinking I should have at least taken it to the dealership. But of course, Christian Brothers is ensuring me that I have a 36,000 mile warranty. Really? I've already had to bring it back the day after you 'fixed' it. A few months later I'm hearing a rattling noise under my car when turning left. The noise gets louder so I take it to the dealership. The dealership calls and asks if I had any work done recently. Long story short, they were able to remove my water pump by hand, no tools needed, along with the bolts to my timing belt. The rattling noise was from an exhaust pipe bracket that had been broken from the previous repairs. So now my car is at the dealership for repairs. I call Christian Brothers, who tells me to bring it back so they can fix it. Hahahahahahahahahahaha! Isn't that what you were supposed to do the first time? Instead, you left me with a hazardous situation where parts could have literally fell off my car. I had to have the timing belt replaced and the water pump again. Total repairs 3600.00 because the person who previously worked on it jacked up the timing belt. My car only had 55,000 miles on it when CB touched it and now has 60K. I called the headquarters in Texas. I explicitly asked the two men who called me back the following question, 'If a shop did repairs on your car and you later took it to the dealership for something you thought was unrelated to those repairs, and it turns out the noise you are hearing was caused by the people who did the repairs, and the parts they replaced could be removed by hand, regardless of a warranty, would you take it back to that shop?' Both men said 'No'. They called the owner of this franchise who said he offered to have it towed to his shop. Why? To finish off the car? Didn't you do enough damage? Your so called repairs ended up costing me 5800.00 total, for a WATERPUMP! Seriously? You should be ashamed of yourselves. Especially since they were able to remove the parts by hand. The mechanic from the dealership told me I was lucky I didn't lose the waterpump on the highway, and I was lucky my engine was still good. Sadly, these are the bad mechanics people warn you about. At least these 'Christian' brothers won't be getting any more money from me.
