This is truly the place with the helpful (and friendly) hardware folks. I was greeted with a smile and "How can I help you?" the minute I came through the door. The gentleman at the key desk was especially helpful. He stepped out from behind the counter to help me find the several items on my list. Check out was a breeze too! I've been there several times and it is the only hardware store I patronize!

I’m giving a 3 stars only because the girl at the check out was nice. Otherwise it would be 1.5, as the guy working there is rude and has no idea what is in the store. Went in asking for window mops and squeegees he sent me to the automotive isle. When I asked him, is this all they had. His reply yup that’s it. When I went around further, I actually found what I was looking for. I knew they had them because I did take the time to look online to see if they had them in stock as I’ve purchased the same items at other Ace hardware around the country. I say this is the worst hardware I’ve ever been to Dusty Dingy isles. Most days hardware I’ve been to the people are very helpful no exactly what in their store and where to find it. Maybe I came in on a bad day, but after looking at all the reviews, I don’t think so…

Awful experience! Waited for an ungodly amount time to get paint mixed. Lady mixing the paint tells me she would be right with me. I was understanding and willing to wait. Meanwhile, she poceeds to checkout 10 more customers and accept inventory. I'm not just going to stand there for the woman's entire shift. My husband and small child were waiting in the car for at least a good 35 minutes. I asked another worker if he can help and he said he doesn't know how to work the paint. During all this time, there is another employee just standing behind a counter in the back doing nothing and staring at me. Apparently, this paint issue has been an on going problem since 4 years ago. Another reviewer left a similar review. That alone goes to show that the appropriate measures have not been taken to resolve this issue. Owners can continue to reply to these reviews, but it doesn't change the fact that it doesn't get resolved. This place is a joke and will sadly fold in comparison to other Ace stores that value customer service.
Edit: Took my business elsewhere. Go to Cotton's Ace Hardware in Afton. They were very helpful right when I walked through the door. I was in and out in under 10 mins. There are other places capable of mixing paint in under 10 mins.

This Ace Hardware is the the bomb. The owner took it upon himself to help us locate something they didn't even sell. Donald Houska, goes above and beyond for his customers. Thank you Don, you are Awesome!!! Your workers were even extremely helpful. We will be back for sure and we will highly recommend this location!! From an amazed customer Ken and Chris just for 3/4" flexible tubing.

Not a single person offered help.
Place is a giant waste of time if your looking for metric hardware. Always skip the most used sizes on powersport vehicles. Been numerous diff occasions.
This is the last time i will ever step foot in an ace hardware and instead will solely use tractor supply from now on.
