This H&R block is terrible. Please do not go here! They will not help you appropriately. They will not believe you and belittle you. My mother dropped off her taxes before she died. They refused to tell me that her taxes were there and demanded I open an estate. I was intouch with a lawyer that told me that was not needed. I had to call corporate which advised they would be intouch with me. They reached out once her taxes were filed and had to paid for it. I PAID FOR THEM! it's been 4 years and still have not seen the return. H&R Block you own me that money! You refused to listen and treated me like a second class citizen when I tried to find out how things needed to be done, in order for her taxes to be done correctly.

I went here to have my taxes done at the end of February. Still have not gotten my taxes back. The IRS said that there was a discrepancy. I have been told that twice, but I still have not received my return. I will never go back, and I will never recommend their services. I filed my 2022 taxes on my own and have received that back already.

Not professional at all the money we spent to get help are questions with retiring etc ! Never got service we always had same person but he was not available he was 100% service the best explains everything ! This time horrible we were when we walked out we were like what was that !!service so we know not to make same mistake 2025!!!

Felt like I was dealing with a used car lot. Early on very nice, easy to communicate with toward the end, communication, not so much.

Don't return phone calls,drop taxes off it just sits thought when u slot time to do it .,it got done .but instead it just sits

Was offered a text-reminder and ultimately didn't get one - thus, I arrived too early for my appointment and had to wait. Even when my appointment time came around, I was made to wait even more because other customers had come in *after* I arrived and needed help. I suggest this location needs more staff.

Our tax preparer was great. HRBlock’s e-file process and website is an absolute nightmare. In person tax filing never an issue, will likely never go through their e-file again.

Melissa was the representative who helped us with both Missouri and out of state returns. She helped check and refile taxes for multiple years. She was thorough, and quickly resolved all problems. Such a pleasure to work with her. We have had our taxes completed at the Affton office for years. Would highly recommend this location.
