BED BUGS!!! I highly recommend you do not stay here. My sister and I slept for 1 1/2 hours and woke up with bites all over. My eye swelled up, I had at least 9 bites. Told the front desk and they wanted to give us another room. We ended up sleeping in our car! I called corporate and demanded my money back. Which I did receive. I would not recommend this hotel. Smelled moldy and old in the room. Was the first red flag. The rude front desk lady Hannah was on a personal call on her cell and ignored me for a good 5 min before I checked in. The mobile check in they would not do & would not give me an electronic key. This place is a dump. I am a Hilton honors member and stay at Hamptons all the time. Very disappointed with this stay. They should not have the Hilton name.
Rooms: NASTY

I'm rating it on a Hampton Inns/Hilton standard. I've stayed in Hampton Inns elsewhere. These rooms, on the 4th floor at least, are like maybe two steps above a Motel 6. For the price, it's too expensive. Especially for this area of Mississippi. It does look like an area that's future planned or up and coming. It's located close to some restaurants and a Walmart. I just don't believe it is on par for 164 bucks a night. Especially when it's not a touristee spot. The work done in the restroom gives real Motel 6 vibes.

This hotel is not clean at all. The room wasn't ready when I requested an early check-in, which was acceptable; however, when I returned much later, the room was still being cleaned. There was dirt in the halls and hair in the bedding and on the surfaces. For two days, filthy sheets were left on the floor of the ice maker area. Ninety percent of the housekeepers dressed in navy blue were outside socializing with each other on multiple occasions. The employees weren't very nice. Staying here is not advised.

Staff was nice. Pool needs repair. Roaches crawling on coffee area this morning so we passed on breakfast. Tile floor in room was greasy and we slipped several times yesterday and this morning. Curtains do no completely cover windows allowing a LOT of light in was impossible to sleep

Rooms: I always clean the room to feel comfortable. It never trust the under paid workers to clean them like I do. It never fails to find something....little dusty

Clock in room set at wrong time. Missed breakfast by 2 minutes, all picked up. Asked if any muffins or anything cause my husband a diabetic. I told them clock was wrong. Clerk said to get stuff from store there. ? So I went to our car and got him a snack. Too much money to spend to not get breakfast and wasn't out fault. I even tried to fix clock when went back but couldn't. Room was very nice. Not like other places I stayed and I am used to great service. Friends that live there say that why they suggest other hotel in town.

I travel for work. That said, I stay in ALOT of hotels. All Hampton Inns are pretty much the same. However, there is basically nothing in Wiggins, I guess that’s why they don’t really go out of their way to make it a great experience.
The hotel is average. The bathroom is very small, no exhaust fan, so it gets very stuffy when taking a shower. The sink is separate, they should have just enclosed it with the toilet and shower bc during the night if you get up to go to the bathroom, washing your hands makes tons of noise. One side of the faucet was on the wrong way, and on super tight. It must have been leaking or something, so when you turn it on it squeaks really loudly.
The bed was way too firm, you can feel springs in the mattress. New ones are definitely needed. I was pleasantly surprised, the towels were decent.
I was here in Wiggins two weeks. The entire time I was here the pool was a swamp. I asked about it and was told “they’re working on it”.
The employees smoke frequently right as you go out the door- it’s awful.
The washer and dryer work well, but, who carries around a bunch of quarters? When we asked if they could change some bills, we were told they didn’t have any.
Breakfast. It’s meh. I ate cereal most days. There aren’t a lot of regular restaurants to choose from in Wiggins, so it was Hampton Inns included breakfast or fast food.

Glad to find a Hampton Inn at Wiggins. Rooms are a tad outdated, but everything worked. Water pressure was outstanding in the shower - you don't find that too often nowdays. Coffee was ready and available each morning, so that's automatic 5 stars for me. Keep up the good work!
Rooms: Great water pressure in the shower. Fantastic after a long day at work.

I am a Hilton Honors member and travel alot. I stay at Hamptons all over the country and have never had a bad stay before. The room was dirty. Trash under the furnature, and spilled drink in the refrigerator. There was hair and dirt and glitter in both beds, there was medicine in the bathroom floor and I was travelling with my 2 year old granddaughter. Luckily I found the pill before she did. The one elevator was broken and the other shook violently when going up or down. The heat stopped working and Mississippi was having an unusual cold spell. We were given an extra duvet and a space heater. The manager was very nice and apologized but had so many problems with other rooms, she was very flustered. This location seems to be in great need of repairs, renovation and possibly new housekeeping staff. The shower took several minutes before any hot water came out. I was warned about this so I turned it on and checked every few minutes until it finally did heat up. The hallways were very cold as well. Not everything was bad. The front desk staff was very nice. The breakfast was wonderful as were the cooks. The lobby was clean and the parking lot was well lit and clean.I was not offered any discount on our two night stay despite the problems. As I said, normally Hampton Inns are very nice and well kept. This one is definitely the exception. If they had not been full I would have asked for a different room but none were available.

This hotel is very convenient for our purposes, but it is far from being a 3-star category hotel, more a 2-star. We only like the bed, which was very comfortable and the breakfast was very good, too. And the staff was very friendly and helpful. But the room needs a lot of attention. It was superficially clean. The toilet seat was broken, which was repaired within an hour. The showerhead was meant to be adjustable but was not and the water went all over the place. The conditioner was filled, but the dispenser didn’t work, and the tub drain was 80% blocked. When taking a shower you almost took a bath as well. The water drained very slow. The kitchen sink was also draining slow.I hope management will address this and start doing some refurbishment, because the rooms outdated.
