Pros:: good location next to mossy oak and for driving through West Point. Staff helped with my forgotten toothbrush and were very accommodating in the morning when I forgot my key. Bathroom and room were clean and without mold.Encouragements:: a higher quality yogurt with less sugar would be a great addition at breakfast. Also, there was no soap in the dispenser of my shower, and there was no soap in the first floor public bathroom.

This is Tuesday,November 23, 2023, Thanksgiving Day. Came here to visit family checked into this hotel at 3p.m. on 11/22/23 went out to visit family came back to hotel for bed only to learn there was no HOT WATER throughout the whole building. The morning clerk, 7am. -3:30p and 3 shift clerks all knew but still checked people in. Low down money hungry shame and our room is booked til 11/25/23. Hot water tank is and No one can come out to fix it til Friday!No one explain, apologize nor tried to fix the problem nor accommodate anyone. We had to go to our people Wednesday morning just to bath. Waiting to see how they will accommodate us this morning on Thanksgiving. ??????Noteworthy details: Horrible place to stay. Does not care about guest nor do they communicate honestly when they are aware of issues with the hotel.NO HOT WATER when we checked in, placed our stuff on the room. Left to do some shop and visiting. Got to room later to bath then we found out there was no HOT WATER throughout the whole building and they couldn’t accommodate us.

There were a lot of nice things about Hampton Inn. The rooms were nice, the beds comfy, and the breakfast was good. However, the bedding was dirty. We rented two rooms, each with two beds. Two of the four beds had hair and crumbs in the sheets. The front office gave us replacement bedding, but we had to put the bedding on ourselves. Especially at this price it is uncalled for.

Artavia Wilson, hotel manager, is very rude and inconsiderate. She lacks the fundamental skills for customer service. When checking in, front desk failed to disclose there was no hot water. When this is was brought to Artavia Wilson's attention she was dismissive and said "the choice was yours to stay here". No problem solving skills, no empathy, no accountability. Ive stayed here over 10 times over the past 12 years. This has been the worst experience i have ever had with this establishment. The single point of failure i can assertain has been Artavia Wilson's management style which is rude and bullying. Moving foward i will be taking my buisness to Columbus, Even though its 30 minutes outside the scope of my business.Rooms: Just underwent construction...rooms not very clean on 1st floor

Just back from a two-day stay. I also hesitated after reading recent reviews. We’re familiar with this hotel and with the area, so took a chance. We were not disappointed. Yes, the hotel is under construction but our room on the second floor was clean and stocked with everything we needed, except for a fridge but that wasn’t much of an issue since we had a cooler. I need to commend two employees who delivered 5-star service, Derrick & Yolanda! They were friendly, informative and professional. The hotel also offered free bfast from 6a-10a, nice selection of hot and cold food. My only suggestion for improvement was to repair the LED display on the thermostat as it was not readable/could not see temp, so we just “winged” it and went up or down on the arrows.Everything else in room was fine, clean and what we needed. Will visit again!

After a tiring day pulled in just to get some sleep, was a little iffy after reading some of the reviews but figured for just some sleep it would serve its purpose. The staff was friendly and efficient, We did have some trouble with our key cards but they were quick to remedy that. Our room although somewhat dated was clean, The beds were comfy. Bathroom was spotless as well. Overall was decent.

This hotel was under renovation during our August 2023 visit. Our room had been renovated, but had no phone, clock or hairdryer in room. Toilet leaked water onto the floor behind the toilet. Reported this to management who made no attempt to correct. Also laundry and exercise rooms were closed due to renovations. Nothing on the website indicates renovations are in progress. So we had to go elsewhere to get Internet and to do laundry. We were offered a whopping $8 discount. Hallways and main lobby/breakfast areas barely had any air circulating while it was 100°+ outside. Avoid until renovations are complete.

Walking in the property I was greeted by friendly staff. There was a power outage a few hours before. This is important because when they ran my card they kept saying it didn’t go through. On my app it showed it did. The only key card that worked was the key card they had. The only room that was ready was the most expensive suite they had. Interesting. Room was clean but under repair. Sleep was all I needed. In the morning went to take a shower. There was a hole in the wall by the commode. It was filled with what appeared to be mildew. Fine move on.Gathered my things on my way. 45 minutes later I realized I had left my watch & vintage family ring on the nightstand. Called. Oh we will get it not a worry. Called 4 hours later. The housekeepers put it on their cart, they were gone. 24 hours later I went back to pick up my watch & ring. Different person said she didn’t know anything about it. Housekeepers weren’t there. Don’t they have a safe? Do I need to contact police? Oh no we will call you when the housekeepers come back. 4 hours later no call. I called the local PD. They said they would talk with the staff. No call back from PD. Called hotel again. They don’t have it. The police never went, I don’t have my watch or ring. My fault to leave it there, yes. But if you can’t trust staff that’s great! Then when I found the charges went on my card 10 times my bank had to sort that out. Service, management, not trustworthy. I paid to sleep for 6 hours & lost $1000 of my personal property. Sad how people steal & lie.

The front desk double charged several customers for their rooms & didn't offer an explanation or a remedy for the mistake. Can you imagine being double charged for a room? Just say the extra money they took was for something else. Now you're stuck out of town with less money to spend & the only thing management can say is we're sorry, i dont know what happened?..And the pool...the pool was dirty & management offered no solution for the issue. I honesty think management made these issues worse than what they had to be. I mean what ever happened to the customer is always right? If we the consumers are spending our money, we have the to get what we paid for & a good customer experience is part of that....the management here is basically ???
