I drove 105 minutes up to buy a new shotgun I was quoted a price of $849.99 on over the phone. Got there and found the barrel had noticeable scratches from rough handling from the rack to the safe. They offered to discount it $30, which I agreed to. I also bought ammo for $28.99. I pulled my debit card out at checkout and was informed there would be a 3% upcharge. I agreed having little choice near closing time and unable to withdraw that much money in 1 day from the ATM on my card. Sales tax rate is 7% unless their locale tacks on another 1%, which I've never seen before. The receipt was not itemized, which I found strange. Maybe there is a better explanation, but there were 4 of them handling the transaction, so I think something got lost somewhere between quote and register. I should have caught it there. My own fault. I was a little distracted and heard the 28 part, but for some reason was thinking the total was $928, which sounded right. Looks like mynl actual scratch discount was about $15, which didn't cover the debit card upcharge. Overall, a huge selection of guns of every description, good supply of ammo and optics and fishing supplies. Very friendly and worked very hard to make sure I got exactly what I was looking for. I look at it as a small tip for good service. That poor lady went through about every gun on the rack trying to meet my requirements. They really wanted to sell me something, and tried to make sure it was an efficient process. I think just too many of them (5 total) in the tiny little space looking at the same transaction from different perspectives. Would I go back and would I recommend them? Sure. I'll pay more attention next time. At first, I thought the scratch discount was omitted completely, but checked the math again, and found it to be about half what was discussed. At any rate, that little bit won't kill me, and I'm all for family gun businesses making it.

* Tried a second time to get 2 amp wiring kits installed* .. REFUSED unless I bought the amps from them.... told me I could buy his amp wiring kits and they still wouldn't install them that I had to buy an amp from them also... WOULDNT NOT INSTALL THE AMP WIRING KITS THEY SOLD ME UNLESS I BOUGHT AN AMP TOO.... RIDICULOUS... GET OUT OF WAYNESBORO...The guys who work there are lazy, always come up with a reason why the cant fix or install anything.. won't help you if you didn't buy ALL your parts from them.. won't put in your headlights if you didn't buy from them.. won't install your radio or amp if you didn't buy from them... oh that's awesome business practice...maybe don't charge $50+ dollars more than amazon... price plus 2 day shipping is cheaper than you are.... ... you should really hire better quality employees...what was it you told me... your getting your unemployment while.you make cash from extreme ??. Why do we need businesses like this is waynesboro if I have to drive to Laurel to get everything done...

They sell firearms as "new" without paperwork/manuals? They are not new, $90 for a Pmag? lol No wonder it's faded yellow. (It's years old) I'll never shop here again. I bought a so called 40 round "Colt' magazine, well it's not made by Colt. The company used a Colt bottom plate and Colt anti tilt followers. I company that makes these jam-o-matic magazines sold these fake goods, no longer can put Colt bottom plates or anti-tilt followers on their magazines. (BTW, Colt never made 40 round magazines, ever) I talked to the owner about returning it and I didn't have a receipt one day before I went to return it. He told me "Not a problem bring it back.". Well, when I went to return it he didn't want to refund my money. He claimed he never said he didn't remember he saying "I could return it without a receipt, not a problem at all." Everything in there store is junk and way overpriced. (Shop online, save yourself the 150%+ markup) Also, I wouldn't buy their way overpriced Tannerite, you can get a 10 pack for $29.95 shipped free to your door. I was also told "I'll call Colt I have quite a few friends there." Does a person from Mississippi have "Friends" he knows who work for Colt, I doubt it, maybe acquaintances. It was pretty funny when he ripped open the bag the magazine was stored in right in front of me to look at the Colt plate. (quite aggressively.)Then he stormed out, to the back room, but at least I got my $40 back. I don't mind paying extra at a brick and mortar store but 100% or more markup in price, no way.
