One of my cat was missing so I went to the animal shelter to check. I didn’t find him but there are so many cats and dogs need to be adopted. Beautiful cats and kittens. Beautiful dogs. They do need empty boxes and dog and cat and kitten food. If anyone can volunteer to help few hours, they would really appreciate it. I don’t know what the process is but the animals really need love and care. Please if you can adopt some of these animals. Please if you can, drop some empty boxes, they really need it.

Very helpful guy who showed us around, as a teenager his knowledge was adequate to make us feel welcomed, unlike Vicksburg Humane society. They have cute little puppies all desperately wanting to go home. Please come and take a look, you won’t go back empty handed, just $80 for a pet.

Have recently adopted a cat and a dog through the shelter. Both are awesome! Everyone at the shelter was so helpful and easy to work with as well! Thanks for all you do!

The best dog I've ever owned came from the VAS. They make it so easy and they really get to know their animals so they can recommend or not. Kacie is the best thing that ever happened to the place! Thank you for Milo! He saved my heart!

Another great city full of culture and history. We spent two nights there and could have easily stayed a third or forth. I gotta say that if you eat just one meal you better make it 10 south Rooftop. And if you go to one park- make sure that it's the National Military Park. We also went to several cemetery and a couple novelty museums. Didn't make it to the Courthouse Museum- so there'sa (hahahahahaha that's my name) reason to return. And of course if you like tossing your money in to the Mississippi River- go to a river boat casino. I went to one just for a show and had a fantastic time. No gaming.
