I live in Texas and I will continue to bank with mutual credit union for as long as I can! They are always so helpful and polite when I call and they make me miss home. I have gone to them for 4 loans and I am always happy that I did. Mrs. Wendy on Clay helped me this time around and my goodness is she sweet! So knowledgeable about anything I needed help with concerning the loan and she got back with me the same day I called. Thank you Mrs Wendy!

I would give 0 stars if I could to both the Vicksburg and Raymond branches. Because I received notification that a few of my IRA CDs were either due for renewal or close out, I decided not to renew them. However, these CDs were originally set up by my parents--God bless them--who passed away, and I was not familiar with the details of these accounts. I ended up accidentally transferring the funds to another MCU non-IRA account, but because I was not yet 59-1/2 years old, I am now having to face expensive 10% early withdrawal tax penalties. The sad thing is that you'd think any competent branch manager might look at all of my accounts and point out that I already had an IRA Shares account which could receive the funds while avoiding any penalties. As I later learned, the IRA Shares account is set up along with IRA CDs specifically for this purpose. Instead, no guidance was provided by the branch managers (don't they know their own products?), they never apologized for lack of customer service nor offered anything in return for the tremendous inconvenience. Yet I'm the one left holding the bag! Like many banks, they only care about opening up new branches, getting more customers, boosting their numbers, and doing the minimum to cover their sorry butts--but forget about offering true customer care. Terrible and pathetic, stay away. Maybe you're better off keeping your $ in your mattress??!!

Had an interaction with Brittany Lee very rude very non-accommodating with customer service a simple transaction became a nightmare for me. Someone with this bad of an attitude should not work in a customer service environment.

Customer service is the worst that I’ve ever experienced. I called so many times to try to get things situated over the phone. Waste of time and lazy bankers.

I would not recommend anyone to do business with them. I have called this bank at the beginning of this month about my card being used without my permission. I have asked them to cancel the card and send me a new one over two weeks ago. I have yet to receive the card as the weeks have passed I have called at least once a week to check and see where is my card. They have said it was on the way ! Today they are now saying I never order a card just cancel my old one when I know

They will move your money without your consent. You won't ever be able to get anyone on the phone, even if you call EVERY SINGLE BRANCH. There is no accountability on their part and the only thing you will receive is “sorryâ€. DO NOT JOIN THIS CREDIT UNION. UPDATE: my card is being charged for things I didn't even purchase. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CREDIT UNION!!

I have been a customer for years and the customer service is always lacking. I've left multiple voicemails and sent many emails and can't get anyone from here to contact me back about an account issue. I think it's time to switch to a bank that actually answers their phone in the first place...
