I’ve had nothing but poor experiences with the Vancleave Post Office. The staff is consistently rude and unhelpful, and they seem completely indifferent to customer service. The wait times are ridiculous, with lines often out the door, and it feels like they make no effort to speed things up or improve the process. I’ve also had multiple packages lost or delayed without any explanation. If you have any other option, I highly recommend using a different post office. This place is the worst!

i'm completely done and OVER this sorry excuse of a post office. i literally want to move out of vancleave so my mail is handled by other people. i've had issues with this post office for YEARS. the guy that always works at the front desk is not even giving accurate information to people about postage pricing or the rules from the USPS website. i've been penpalling for over five years and send many decorated envelopes that are flat and abide by all rules via USPS. i weigh my mail with an accurate scale MADE FOR MAIL and put proper postage accordingly. it's gotten so bad that they send me ALL of my letters back now with ZERO indication of the problem. i've had him be extremely rude to me when i've asked if they sell international forever stamps like every other post office on the planet and i get given a dirty look and told "Uh! Nobody asks for those here haha... nope!" ??? Nobody from any other state in the US or even city is dealing with this nonsense and the constant return of valid mail. I'd bring it in to get it postage in store but he wants to say it's $5 for a 1oz letter because it's freaking DECORATED and SLIGHTLY uneven but when i do it in the dropbox it worked for years until i went into the USPS in person once and suddenly all my mail is declining. do better this place is PATHETIC! weirdos probably sexist cause when i send my boyfriend in to handle my mail it goes 100% smoothly... go figure for vancleave

This place is the worst ran place I've ever seen I pay for Amazon prime to buy things for work to get here on time and they can't do that the mail carrier skips my home and then I habw to train it down 3 days past deliver date and they call me with a attitude saying they have my package and ain't delivering it until the next day they need to train these people that are on these mail routes because us as the people shouldn't have to do there job!

Seriously.... even left a sign at mailbox saying leave packages here please since usps refuses to deliver to the house . Parts for my car I needed to get to work Monday and the office is closed all weekend.

Our mail lady is absolutely terrible. She is rude, and awful at her job She comes to our house late at night and throws our packages, goes unsafe speeds on a child heavy road. She has left multiple packages in the rain after confronting her multiple times nothing has changed. One of my biggest problems is when they put a slip in my mailbox saying an attempt was made when it wasn’t.The whole point of paying for shipping is for it to come to my house, not to have to rearrange my day to get a package because a sorry excuse of a post office can’t get their job done. I don’t know how one person could be so terrible at setting packages on a porch, it seems easy enough.

Terrible experience with Vancleave PO. They have refused to deliver pkgs here anymore! Our mail carrier never shuts the door and she almost tore the door off when she left damaging the door. She also drops mail and leaves it lying beside the road.Updated 11/14/23 Any further problems with this post office and the mail carrier POOM will be contacted!

Carrier complains the mailbox is to far away for them. It’s been this way for 25 years.and this is the first time I have had a complaint . It’s been hit by trucks, cars, grass cutters and mail carriers. I have pushed it up twice, but I am now a 75 year old widow. The mail carrier crams packages in the box that is designed for letters not pkgs, pushing the box back further and then complains about it. Here’s a solution, lean out the window or deliver the packages like you are supposed to.,

I called about a package that was delivered to the wrong address per my sellers information. I spoke with Micky. She not only got ahold of my carrier but made sure the address was fixed and my package was delivered the next day. Friendly, efficient and she cared. Thank you for the great customer service, I certainly appreciate you and the Vancleave office. My carrier is fantastic too! I don't know her name but she's accurate and timely, and obviously cares.

The carrier on Old Fort Bayou RD doesn't deliver medication even when the email message says its on his truck. Then a new message says recipient request return of package. The manager needs to correct this asap before this carrier causes someone health issues.
