I bought a 2021 Nissan Rogue Sport less than 2 months ago. And of course bought insurance to drive it off the lot through Safeway. The insurance agent never took photos of the vehicle and when I texted the photos over, never uploaded them either, and canceled my policy without an explanation of such. Last night I was t-boned by a deer, who destroyed the whole left side of my car and headlight (driver's side door won't open-had to climb out passenger side). After calling Safeway, who essentially told me "too bad," and after calling every body shop in the area (booked out for a month), I called Carlock Nissan. The general manger was INCREDIBLY rude, made the whole thing out to be my fault, and also essentially told me "tough luck." Sure they'll follow the stereotypical pleasant and dependable demeanor to meet their commission when you buy the vehicle, but does their customer service and support follow through? Absolutely not. I now have to pay for all the damages done to a brand new vehicle, out of pocket, because the finger pointing game continues. I highly advice you to go through a dealership that not only makes the experience more personable, but ensures that that support and receptivity is followed through after purchase.
