Our Groom's Party arrived Thursday night to start our bachelor party celebration with the rest of the family and friends arriving Friday to prepare for the ceremony and it was just a wonderful, comfortable, quiet, gorgeous spot in the idyllic countryside that provided a venue for all of our dreams to come true. “I was still thinking about the food the next day. Filet was tender. Mashed potatoes, well seasoned, maybe overly so. The cucumber tomato salad surprised me. I was expecting to taste zucchini. My salad was a Queen of Hearts. Crispy with vinegrette, maybe raspberry. Loved it. And the bread pudding...I preferred the crispy parts.The beginning of the evening was a bit off. We were offered seats in the bar instead of their asking our preference. And when I ordered my steak medium, the server questioned me, telling me "it's pink."I flatly repeated, "I want medium."She returned and apologized because my mouth didn't say it, but my face did: this ain't my first damned steak.Parking: Parking is ragged.
