Allowed us to bring in a neglected puppy on their closed day (Monday,) and provided ways to build a case against the neglecter (which they did not have to do on a day off.) Immediately felt the strength of the Humane Societies beliefs to get an animal healthy and cared for. Thank you so so so much.

I live in San Diego, CA and foster/adopt dogs from Mexico. I saw a gorgeous female Bluetick Coonhound on OCHS website featured on Petfinder, that I wanted to help. I called OCHS and spoke with a very professional receptionist, who provided very detailed information and patiently answered my questions. It is evident to me that the animals are well cared for after reading the reviews from other patrons. I happily left a donation through their website.

The receptionist was very hostile and refused to get the manger or tell me her name. Using profanity and hanging up in someone’s face is unprofessional.
