Everyone was great Justin helped me get the deal done were I needed it to be financing took 5 minutes I went up there signed some papers and rolled out on my 2010 fat boy lo and I did everything online and over the phone Justin puttkammer really went out of his way to take care of me call and ask for him tell him I sent you and he will hook you up and know I do not know him never seen him before in my life and yes I'm a real customer who got a great deal and was not pressured or taking advantage of I'm very happy

Last Sunday, Oct. 6, I was traveling home closing out a cross-country trip.
I had an issue that had to be resolved right now. I found Southern HD on maps, 10 miles away and open on Sunday. I was at their front door when they opened.
They took the bike right in, and just over an hour later, they had me on the way.

Very nice facility and plenty of bikes. We were disappointed by the lack of transparency on the deal the sales manager tried to put together for us. At one point, we asked to see what made up his OTD price, but he refused to show the itemized extra fees. I had never experienced this level of lack of transparency at any dealership, car, boat, or otherwise.
The bike had a price tag showing $25,999. The deal included $3,624 of unexplained costs. Yeah some were taxes, freight, doc fees. The point is it wasn't listed and he would not provide it after we asked him to show it. The sales tag showed 25,999 and the first price listed on his first offer, started at 28,199 and went UP from there.
The first tradein value offered was $345 below rough tradein vale and $2,445 lower than another dealership. He did increase the trade offer which was still $845 lower than the clean tradein offer.
Would I buy from them? Yes, but you gotta know your all of your numbers, and they must be show all of the fees on their offer. Their deal was still $2,318 better than my first offer at another dealership which is excellent, but there was still too much left unexplained.

Tried to buy a 2024 Road Glide but things did not work out.Sales manager felt he was the smartest man in the room and tried to guilt me into buying.After 80 percent of what he was saying was false , just make believe statements. He told me he was giving me a deal so good that the salesman would not be able to be paid. Salesman always gets paid he has no say in that. Motorcycle no discount full price , that's about 5000 dollar profit. Doc fee 399 dollars all profit minus what about 10 sheets of paper would cost freight 800 dollars about 500 of that is profit . Set up and delivery another 800 dollars. They pay their technician at most 32 dollars per hour so another 700 dollar profit. I wanted 700 off all of that and I was trading in 2 motorcycles that they will make at least 6000 combined. Won't be able to pay the salesman. Went to Bumpus of Memphis and got the deal I wanted.

Omg don't even for mechanics they over charged us out the wazoo for their mechanic service while in the meantime left out screws and jerked the wires out of my fast charge phone charger then replace it with a slow charger that wouldn't even keep a charge going so I couldn't take any pictures throughout the remainder of the day. If you breakdown near this place have your bike towed to the next dealership or east the cost and fumbles. Upside is he did get us back on the road after the price hijacking.

Been to this store many times and always friendly staff. I want to commend Ashley on her customer service as the first young lady said they couldnt ship my purchase home. Ashley stepped in and said absolutley we can. My items arrived home before I did. Great customer service.

Nick and the rest of the team at Southern Thunder are fantastic. They made me and my whole family feel welcome and worked with us to make sure I got the motorcycle I wanted. When I decide to purchase another one I will definitely use Southern Thunder again.

Ive bought two motorcycles from them and there customer service really sucks it apparently takes 3 people to service 1 person and they don't even acknowledge you with a receipt in your hand.
