This place is a total rip off. Mechanics aren't mechanics they are just part swappers. They have no idea how to actually work on a vehicle muchless diagnose one. Also, they will sabotage your vehicle to make sure you bring it back. My vehicle has been back and forth to GMC landers about 6 times this year. It comes out of their shop with more problems than it went in with. Landers staff doesn't care about customers either They will tell you they will get back with you then never hear from them again about your complaint. Horrible Horrible Horrible place. When they called about my service experience, they asked me not to do this survey and that the manager would give me a call and to not ruin their reputation. The last time they had my truck, they tried to charge me $970 plus tax to replace my starter. I refused, got my truck towed to my house. Before I went and purchased starter for $139 I got under the hood to verify thier inspection that costed me $200. They were trying to rip me off, it was just missing the nut off the power cable on the starter solenoid which was .38€ repair from orielly. Truck cranked right up no issues. GMC Landers service department is a total ripoff. Also when I was inspecting starter I found other stuff unplugged and undone that had nothing to do with starter. Which is why I say they sabotage your vehicle. They've gotten probably about 10k off of me and I will never step foot back on thier property again.

Great service and professionalism since I have been dealing with them begining in 2011. I try to buy from other dealers in the Mid South area but know one has been able to compare when it comes to no market adjustments on GMC trucks or a fair price for trade-in. Service on 9/3 was done quick and correct headed by Service advisor Mykal. Thanks again for continuing great service.

Great customer service but tech didn’t reset oil life meter, left all the seat, floor and steering covers in the vehicle, and oily handprints on the hood and both fenders

Horrible service experience, had appointment for simple oil change & tire rotation, had to wait at dealership. No updates from Service Advisor so after 2 hours asked him status, was told they’d be bringing up my truck in “a few minutes”. 50 minutes later was advised it was finally ready after waiting nearly 3 hours with no communication. Paid invoice then opened my door to find protective paper, plastic coverings and hang tag just left in place, had to trash it all myself. Have also had this dealership leave a socket wrench on my engine block, have given up on Landers GMC.

I give 5 stars ONLY because of Aaron Proctor!!!! He is a great guy that went above and beyond to make my nephew happy!! We had a few ups and downs along the way and the sales manager ADAM was very rude and unprofessional but Aaron Proctor made up for his rudeness so a big shout out to Aaron!!! If your looking for a ride please see him, you won’t regret it!!!

Took 2 weeks to get my truck back and 2 days after I got it back, the engine light and service stabiltrak light came on. Every time I called, I would get sent to the service department and the phone would ring until it went to voicemail. Then, it would say the mailbox was full! I finally got a lady named Shontell who was no help but asked me to give her a good survey rating when we got off the phone. When I went to the dealership, nobody asked if I needed help and it appeared everyone was on break! This place needs to hire people with a better work ethic and needs new leadership!

I was asked to leave a review of my service experience:
When I dropped the vehicle off I asked about a potential recall I received and was told they would look into it. When I came back to pick up my vehicle there was no indication that it was looked at and the tech did not seem to know. He just referred me to the paperwork where nothing was listed other than the oil change. I then asked where my vehicle was located and the tech suggested I set off the alarm so I could find it. Then he mentioned he could bring it around if I wanted. I told him just to point me in the general direction. Again, he didn’t seem to know. After finding my vehicle, I noticed a greasy hand print on the exterior near the hood. When I got into my vehicle the plastic was still over the drivers seat and steering wheel, and paper in the floor. I then noticed another greasy hand print on the leather interior on the driver side door. Very disappointing service experience and not what I would expect after purchasing a new yukon at this dealership. If not for the “free” oil change (points accumulated for buying the vehicle..) I would not be back.
