I took my friend there to have her alternator tested to make sure it was bad. They were very helpful and explained several things to us that made it ALL make sense.

My fiancé and I go in here often to get the things we need to maintain our cars. HOWEVER, today was the absolute worst experience. I do not know the name of the person, but it was the manager/supervisor on duty around 12 p.m. 05/21/2024. He was absolutely TERRIBLE to my fiancé. I work for the Navy, and he is active duty in the Air Force, so we always show military ID to get the 10% discount. My fiancé left his ID at home, so I went into the store to show mine. The girls up front were great, but they needed a code to ring up the discount, which is what they were waiting for the supervisor to give them. My fiancé went back inside to finish the transaction, and THE SUPERVISOR REFUSED TO PUT THE CODE IN FOR NO REASON, AND WALKED AWAY. So we did not get our usual 10% discount.
It’s not about the discount, it’s the fact that he was so disgusting and disrespectful. Not only that, but a simple transaction ran longer than what it was supposed to be, and we had to do all that running in and out of the store swapping who was in the car because we had just left a doctor’s appointment with our newborn.
Just AWFUL.

Went there yesterday evening as my check engine light had come on and wanted to get it diagnosed. Upon entering the store and inquiring about the service they advertise, I was told they cannot do it after dark. I explained that I'd had it done previously and there was no signage stating a time frame and the associate told me will policies change. I immediately went directly across the street to O'Reilly and had one of the most pleasant friendly experiences I have had in a retail store in years. AutoZone you have lost a customer for life and O'Reilly you have gained one. Even if it cost a little more, it's worth it to be treated like you matter.

Staff is always courteous and helpful. If they don't have what I need they tell me what locations have it or order for me.
