This store is absolutely the worst dollar general in the entire state of Mississippi. The store is never put up and is constantly sitting in carts in the isles. This store should be shut down until such time is can be made safe for customers in the event of an emergency. State Fire Marshals office should be involved in this problem. I will drive the extra 2 miles to the next store that the employees take pride in! I understand it’s “DG” but they should still take pride in doing their jobs

I really wish I could give them 0 stars because that would be an accurate rating of my visit. Before this last visit I would have rated them 3 stars. For being friendly enough and usually having what I needed. The convenience of them being located relatively close to my house was the reason I continued to use this location.After today I’m okay with driving an extra couple miles to the next DG and I suggest you do the same if possible.The store is cluttered and dirty. Even after the remodel nothing has changed except the fact now they can sell moldy produce. Some of the employees are very nice and helpful which was a reason I would continue to give them business (almost every day) but that one female employee stocking today ruined it for me.Maybe they will get it together one day after enough complaints but unlikely.

Felt like walking into a furnace. Mississippi is currently in a heatwave and theres no AC in the store? Just a dingy fan blowing hot air around? Cannot believe there's some other dude in these reviews whining about reduced hours or whatever when the store feels and smells like hell itself. Get it together, because whatevers going on there is barely legal. Don't bother shopping here unless you're looking to sweat and buy half rotted produce, which is also coated in sweat.

Currently making the excuse that they're closed most of the day (until weather isn't hot) while they are just sitting in store getting paid. They're saying A/C isn't working to justify being on the clock sitting in a business forcing it to stay closed because they're either upset or lazy. Either way, they're punishing customers and regulars with these shenanigans. Needs new management and/or employees. I've noticed this going on for at least a few days but others I've asked said the workers having been doing this for a couple weeks so far. Get it together and calling BBB. Will update.

The new store manager has brought this store back from a messy, unorganized, inventory issues, employee issues & the list goes on! I can see the improvement already & us customers appreciate you & everything you've done! Keep up the hard work!

This is quite honestly the worst DG I have ever shopped at. I have witnessed more then once the employees being over rude to customer and screaming and yelling at each other. The shelf’s are never stocked. I know times are hard, but there is no excuse. Management needs to do better, the company needs to do better. I feel for those employees.

I was in your store today. The isles was so crammed with boxes. I am handicapped so it hard to walk through your store with it so junkie. Well today My Grandson met me at the Dollar Sore as I was checking out. As you are going out they have canned Christmas popcorn stacked at the end of the isle. Well the wheels of the shopping cart hit a corner of the stacks of Popcorn, all of a sudden cans were flying all over. I got hit on my face (nose), my grandson couldn’t pick all those cans up by himself. I called the guy checking out customers to come and help him. It took him a while before he came out from behind the counter. I told him they need to move those cans as they are notsturdy and the next time they fall they could hurt somebody serious. The stacks of popcorn was wobbling and not on stable ground. Please fix this immediately.

My handicapped mother had the popcorn tins literally fall on her and it hit her nose hard. Why are they stacked so high? And why did the employee not even come to assist immediately? I’ve been in here multiple times and have had to walk on and across boxes on the floor. I get that you may not have enough help but putting the broke down boxes and trash in a buggy is better than having it all over the floor. And don’t stack stuff unsupported especially if you aren’t even willing to take care of it. Put it on shelves!! Literally there is room since half the time you don’t have stuff to fill them.

Dollar General digital coupons you offer makes me want to come to your stores more than others, but what is the point if when I type my phone number in to redeem my digital coupons it does not work. Employees please ensure that our coupons in fact did go through once we type our phone number in. And please make sure to give us a receipt so that we can see that. Thank you. Purposely went through and picked out all the correct products to get with my coupons. I typed my phone number in for whatever reason I did not get a receipt and when I check my Dollar General app it should show me that recent transaction and it does not so therefore my coupons did not go through. My coupons that should have went through are still available on my app. I went back in and asked for my receipt there’s nothing they can do for me. Great ,super!

There is always cluttered isles because all the stock is on carts blocking all the empty shelves, if you would keep the store stocked I bet you would sell more. There was a lady stocking the refrigerated goods and had the eggs on the bottom of her cart and none in the shelf, when asked if we could get some eggs she stated they were on the bottom and it would be a while before she got to those.. Really, that's some outstanding customer service. Please stock the shelves and keep the store uncluttered.

This place is HORRIBLE at having ANYTHING on the shelves. Boxes and boxes BLOCKING other things. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND hiring someone to stock the shelves every truck load, AFTER getting items out to even buy. I don't know why it stays packed because almost everything is still in carts and BOXES. PLEASE, Either let them get over time or HIRE someone part time, for this inconvenience.
