I hardly leave reviews, but this place was worth it! As a Marriott member, I stay with Marriott often and this was my best stay so far! Ms. Jada at the front desk was SO sweet and accommodating. The entire breakfast staff was kind and the food was delicious! The room was extremely clean (I’m a germ-a-phobe), but I felt comfortable enough to just shower and sleep. My floor was quiet and peaceful. Mr. Lonzo was so kind during my check in and he was super accommodating. What a great HOSPITABLE staff. I will be staying here again! Don’t hesitate to book. You get what you pay for and the pool is gorgeous! Location is great and safe. Such a relaxing stay.

Bed Bugs
As a loyal member of the Marriott family, I typically choose Marriott hotels for my stays. However, my recent experience at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Jackson Ridgeland was extremely disappointing. The condition of the unit and the cleanliness fell well below expectations. After our first night, we discovered bed bugs in the room, forcing us to leave the hotel and seek alternative accommodation. It seems this issue has been noted in previous reviews, suggesting it may be a common problem at this particular hotel. I would not recommend this hotel.

Overall a great 3star hotel. Clean and staff are always nice and helpful. Pretty good free breakfast. Nice little pool with a water fall wall. Not big enough for lap swimming though. It’s close to lots of good! restaurants in walking distance. Nice little pond across the street with a walking path. Big outdoor shopping area just .4 miles away. The only complaint is some electrical failures with lights in my room. But will see if I can get that fixed.

Rooms: The room we got was clean, tidy and inviting. Everything in it looks newer than most hotels. Only downside is the bathtub was kind of small.

Room was clean, comfy, the bed wasn't bad, and the staff at all hours were super friendly and helpful.

No exhaust fan in the bathroom, weird frosted glass door on the bathroom (seriously, who puts a glass door on the BATHROOM? ), very impractical TV placement, and moldy ice mucket. Breakfast and customer service were good, though.

Room was huge and very clean. Staff was great! My daughter said the best part is jumping on the bed. But it was one of the nicest hotels we've been to in a while.
Rooms: It was fun. I liked jumping on the bed. I'm 11. You should come here.
Nearby activities: Walking distance to several nice restaurants

Excellent hotel. A few issues that are not a big deal. Room 320’s outlets didn’t work near the desk area and the drain was broken (stays up if reset). Breakfast was great. The property was clean and we felt safe. The beds are comfortable. The closet area is huge for luggage storage. Appreciate the friendly staff.

Great location, great service. I’d give it a 4.5 due to a few issues with the room. Bathroom door doesn’t close all the way so it didn’t lock; missing two glass panels on desk; TV reboots every few hours. I’m sure this is a power saving option for the hotel to save electricity but it’s irritating if you’re watching something on Netflix on a rainy day. I kept having to turn it back on and sign back on. Would definitely stay here again.
