“This store has been through so many different generations.. This last visit was a good one. I planned on running to the store and grabbing a bag of ice. Which I still didn't leave with. I ran in to about 2 relatives, 3 friends, and then 2 people I faintly remembered, and one I wish I could forget. The store is small but still has that same appeal on me as it did when I was very young. People just hanging out on the corner, not like here in Chicago, but people who stand and drink coffee in the morning. People who hold the door for you to go in and people who do nothing but come to bless you with a smile and a greeting. Some things we miss when you move to a large city from a small town. The prices are still very competitive and the offer a smaller variety than a couple of the other stores but they make up for that in customer service... Kudos! I would totally recommend.”

“This small gas station has a kitchen and the food is really good! I had the super burger which is a cheeseburger with an egg on it , onion rings and bread pudding. Didnt get a pic of the burger and onion rings because I ate it all! The bread pudding was delicious! Great food and great service!”

“There are so many wonderful things to say about this establishment but I will totally only list my 2 favorite! Number one, When it is raining it has a covered area all the way from the pump to the store. Yes the other one has this but this one just stands out in my head! I remember long ago, I believe this one was the Dixie dandy. lol That was forever and a day ago, but Jacks was right across the street and where the pumps are now was where the other part of the building used to be with all those glass windows before it was demolished and my favorite parking area put up. Please if I a wrong, refresh my memory of which one it was. that was many moons ago. Now they still have wonderful prices and lovely attendants with a positive attitude. Number 2, you all will have to wait till you see me again, because I do recommend and I will also be returning...”
