Ramey's Marketplace is a very clean, neat little place in Poplarville. It is a full blown small grocery store and gas station. The gas prices are the best around, often much cheaper than nearby places. The grocery store is good to have, though some prices are higher than average. The chicken is really good and employees are very friendly and helpful. It is a nice, surprising alternative to larger mega stores.

Gas prices are always about 10 cent more a gallon in Columbia. I'm in Poplarville about twice a month ,so I regularly fill up here and pick up a lunch plate to bring home. The chicken is really good, but I like to be surprised and the do that!
