Hired them to move a bed, table and lamp from my home to a consignment store and assemble a new bed. They put the headboard on the new bed on incorrectly and backwards, so I ended up having to do the work myself anyway. I paid with a check to avoid paying credit card fees, and they billed my credit card anyway, so now I’m having to go through the process of getting the charge reversed.

They broke two expensive pieces of furniture and assured me multiple times that the damage would be taken care of. I spoke with the owner who confirmed that the damage would be addressed. Then, they stopped communicating, finally calling to tell me that they would not fix the damage, instead offering me .$.61 per dollar value of weight, which did not apply and would not be nearly sufficient to fix the damage. Dishonest and unprofessional.

They destroyed my furniture! After calling Sydney to express my concerns about their performance, they dropped my dresser from the truck on the concrete driveway and it was completely destroyed since the truck is very high. I've been trying to get in touch with him regarding the damaged dresser but he does not respond to me. Movers appeared to be inexperienced and not focused on the job. They did not have the proper tools and did not know what to do. They were shown the house before they started but still could not find their way to the rooms that had furniture. They attempted to lift the fridge from the front where there's a plastic grille that could break so my husband told them to lift from the sides. I called Sydney to express my concerns but he was unwilling to listen and told me I should call other movers if I don't like their service. Sydney did not try to find out the reason for my concerns or try to speak to the movers. He simpIy said "I'm not there to see it". After my first call, Sydney turned his phone off. Also, we took furniture apart and put it together ourselves.

A friend recommended McCorquodale Transfer for my household move, and I was very pleased with the entire experience. The movers were prompt, courteous and efficient. They moved me a couple of years ago in Mobile and did a fantastic job! All of the guys were very nice and knowledgeable and so careful with my antique furniture. I was worried bc some of it is delicate, but they took their time and clearly knew what they were doing. The price was extremely reasonable. I would use them again and I highly recommend them for any job big or small!
