if i could give this location 0 stars i would . i am 23, my fiancé is 22 . we went in at 9:51 pm on saturday march 30 2024, for any managers reading this :), to purchase some coronas and absolute seltzers (as adults do) . while ringing it up in self checkout my fiance prepared his license before calling over a staff member to verify us for purchase, called her over and had to twice because she was on her phone . she gave us a dirty look before she walked over, took his license and looked at it for a second and proceeded to tell my 22 year old fiancé that his license was not real . obviously we were confused . we tried to tell her it was, she responded "it's not reflecting this is not real sir" . he asked to speak with a manager or someone higher up to which she said she was the manager . without asking for a second opinion or taking a second look she told us she could not sell to us . we argued for a second and then left to the gas station across the street where we were allowed by the clerk to purchase what we wanted with the same id . we will not be returning to this location due to the lack of professionalism, respect . this pearl location is also dirty, unorganized, never stocked, has poor produce, and sells expired items that should've been removed from the shelves, so this was just the tipping point . do not go to the kroger in pearl . take your business elsewhere like brandon or flowood whom have nicer people, a nicer environment, kept up and taken care of well etc . i will be calling corporate to complain as well !! :) this was definitely discrimination !!

The entire building just smells musty. None of the fruits they had on display were ripe. Asked an employee where something was and he laughed and said "maybe look at the signs". Then when we went to go checkout, the cashier used her own phone number. when i asked her about it, she caught an attitude with me saying "its too late i would have to rescan everything you got and thatll take a long time. your total was $115 can you pay?" after i payed, she practically threw the receipt at me. Her name was Nelda. Do not go in Neldas line. She should honestly be fired for using her own kroger number.

I don't know if the store is good or not. There is no customer service. Nobody will answer the phone. I had a question. Oh well, guess I'll spend my money somewhere else.

Looks sketchy and unconventional outside but it’s ok place to get grocery. They really need to demolish it and rebuild a new modernized Kroger. Plus they always lack stuff
