Love this place! They have cared very greatly for my dog Stella and also have helped tremendously with a dog for the family I work for. All of the employees go above and beyond I wish I knew all of their names but Amy for sure has been great with her knowledge and patience! If you’re looking for a vet that cares this is your place!

We've been with Dr. Hendricks for 20+ years, so you know I recommend her. She is kind, caring, and experienced. She offers options when they are available. Her staff is first rate, her boarding wonderful. She is the vet you've been looking for.

The three stars are for the facility only. I have taken a pet here previously for just basic needs (shots, annual exam and etc). Went back due to my pet had a UTI which the vet was saying it probably wasn’t and he was just marking the yard but then finally confirmed with a urine test. Go back a few days later with another urine sample to see if more meds are needed and thankfully it had cleared up. Asked if I owed anything and was told the follow up test was part of the original visit and has already been paid for. Fast forward to bringing my pet in to be neutered and was quoted a price. Came to pick him back up after the procedure and my bill had increased. All due to a balance owed for the urine test 6 months prior. It’s not that I was charged or the cost it was more of the incompetence of how it was handled. Here recently thought I would give them another chance mainly because they were able to see my cat and he was in need of care. Well long story short he was misdiagnosed by the vet. She wasn’t sure what it could be. After bloodwork was done she said it could be this or could be that (never what it actually was). Sent us home with antibiotics and said come back if not better in 30 days. A week later my cat was worse. Didn’t want to go back so took him to Beatline Oaks and he was diagnosed within the hour by his bloodwork. Sadly it was too late and he passed away.

Live Oak is a good animal hospital. They took care of my Maya. We did up losing her from complications of hr diabetes, but she was a fighter!

What an amazing vet! I appreciate that they were able to accommodate getting my dog in who was experiencing some medical issues. Everyone was so warm and friendly. I appreciated their communication and upfront information about costs and treatments. Knox appreciated the toy and pets that were given by the staff during his visit and I would highly recommend considering them to anyone in the area looking for a vet.
