Over priced and it's hard to get someone on the phone. Came to drop off payment and nobody is here. No note. No nothing. Called home office and they just blew smoke at me. Been waiting 10 minutes still no one here.

I left my son's belongings here after his freshman year at Ole Miss. When I went back today, the key that we had for his storage did not work. After trying to navigate their phone system for quite a while, I finally called the new inquiry number to find that magically I got a real person. She was super helpful and after I explained my dilemma was able to get the area manager to call me. Initially this manager tried to tell me that he had no record of my account. After blowing up at him, my account somehow appeared in his system. He tried to tell me that I was at the wrong location and that I had stored my son's belongings at their Industrial Park site (WHAT?? sorry bub but I totally remember where we put my son's stuff AND we were in possession of the key with fob that clearly said McClarty with the unit #). So , off we went to the Industrial Park location and met the manager in the office whereupon he once again tried to tell me how I got confused on the location. I stopped him midsentence and showed him the key with the fob that clearly showed where we dropped off my kid's stuff. Long story short, this company moved my son's belongings without notifying me AND towels, bedding , part of his fan and other items went missing. There are plenty of storage places in Oxford. Stay away from Your Extra Closet. Follow Up (8/27/20) - After my review, I was contacted by the district manager regarding the issue I had. He was EXTREMELY accommodating and apologetic for the miscommunication that occurred with regard to my transaction. I have to say that the fact he took ownership of the issue and did not try to blame ME for what happened went a long, long way in my book and has once again restored my faith in this company. In addition, his handling and resolution of this situation went above and beyond the call of duty and for that I would more than likely use them again. All companies slip up every once again and I understand that . I can say without reservation that should a mistake be made, this company will go above and beyond to rectify the situation.

I stored my son's belongings at this location at the end of the school year. Upon arriving to move him back into school, we found the key we had did not work on the unit where his belongings were stored. After failed attempts to reach management, i then called the phone number for new storage and finally got a 'live' person. Long story short, the manager tried to tell me I was confused and that my son's belongings were not stored at the location I was at and that I stored them at another location . (what?? I know where we stored his belongings and even had the key fob which had the storage location). Bottom line is that his belongings were moved without our authorization and without notifying us AND his bedding, towels, and comforter, and front cage to his fan were all missing Why I never got a straight story as to WHY his belongings were moved and WHY the manager felt compelled to put the blame on me, I will never know. What I do know is that there are plenty of other storage companies to choose from and you should stay clear of this company. If zero stars were an option, that is what I would have given this company.Follow Up (8/27/20) - After my review, I was contacted by the district manager regarding the issue I had. As for the owner's response, it is clear that the initial set up for the account was for a different location than we put my son's belongings. So, because I just put the account on auto pay through my credit card, I was simply deleting the receipts that I received in my email for my monthly payments. Should I have been reviewing the complete email receipts monthly? Maybe. Should my account have been set up for the location I wanted? Absolutely. Also - you may want to rethink where you leave keys as it sounds that all keys are left on the right hand side inside each door at all your facilities - because that is where we found my son's key for the unit we initially moved into. Perhaps a lock box of some kind with the key inside would be more appropriate.
