The woman at the Oxford post office was extremely rude today. She talked down to me like a 3rd class citizen. She needs an attitude adjustment and some customer service training.

I have been to post offices all over the country. This one is easily the worst one I have ever been to.

It's scary now. I waited patiently in a long line for my turn. The clerk would not mail my letters. I asked why. She said they have no return address. I am crippled with arthritis and pain, so getting addresses and stamps on them, was hard enough, and if they somehow were to get lost, I'm not going to blame the USPS. It's not breaking a law to not have a return address on them. She also said when I asked, that I can't mail them from their slot nor even my residence with no return address. That's an outright lie. I went there mainly to mail a package, but this clerk's meaness was uncalled for. I'm not rude to clerks, especially since I know they get a lot of mean people to deal with, so please scapegoat the bullies instead. Lifelong Oxford resident here. Things have gotten way worse since so many people live here now. 25 years ago it actually was a pretty decent place to live. Less violent crime. Nicer people.Agree with many of the reviews here. Package was lost and nothing was done. The male clerk who has worked there a very long time is the man you hope you get.The bulletproof type looking shields they have now shoulda clued me in. Like an 80's liquor store. Darker now too. Was no restroom access probably due to possible monsters or Ninjas in them.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I have never had issues with getting mail until I moved to Oxford. Yesterdays excuse "driveway/front door was not assessible". The second package "is avaliable for pick up". They might as well not have a phone. They never answer it!

This post office is in desperate need of more employees. There’s usually only one clerk at a time so the line is out the door and often takes an hour just to drop off a pre-labeled package. The mailbox is inside are often so stuffed you are unable to drop off mail and have to stand in line. For those of you who have the option it’s better to go to the contract post office at James Food Center or even drive to Taylor if you have the time.

Worst post office to visit. Expect to be in line for 30 minutes to an hour. Always an excuse for why they are so slow, and yet they are always slow. Poor customer service.

Absolutely awful. If they lose your mail they will make no attempt to find anyone’s package. Workers behind the counter have no clue what they are doing nor do they care (if we find it we will let you know). I understand it is the holidays and it is easy to get overwhelmed but it’s the job. Hire someone that takes the job seriously and wants to be there.

This place is a joke. New Post Master has only made things worse! One postal worker on the counter and the line is almost out the door. Over a 45 min wait for some.

A family member, who is an international student, sent his passport to receive a visa from the Brazilian Consulate in Atlanta. The consulate sent the passport it shows that the USPS had his passport delivered to "an individual". The USPS does not respond to whom.So now he is without an ID here in the US, his passport has, not only his American Visa, but also a visa to Brazil!! This is so dangerous! If the USPS doe not find his passport, he will need to go to his embassy to get an emergency passport and is about to loose his ticket to Brazil and our Xmas family vacation because of the incompetency of this USPS branch! I told him to file a complaint with the police because this is a very serious matter! A lost foreign passport with Visas is a threat to National Security! This branch needs to take responsibility for the mail and packages delivered. After reading all the complaints, I am scared about what goes on there!

There is not enough people here to answer the phone! I have called several times in one day because if no one picks up the phone after 4 minutes you have to call again. Then when you do get a human they do not seem to understand how to do their job!
