I went to the post office yesterday because the individual that was delivering my sons bed frame from Amazon stated required additional information.
The person delivering it did not even try and go down the block to see the address does exist since they always receive food deliveries.
The reason I give it a three star is because there were two ladies at the post office that were determined to find the package and put so much effort and they did find it.
The three star is because these two ladies worked hard.
Very disappointed with the person that was suppose to deliver the item it was a lack of work that they failed to delivery it.

If I could give 0 stars I would. It is absolute bull that no matter the time of day we call, there is never someone to answer the phone.

We had a GREAT experience with Desiree Blanch when she delivered our mail. She went above and beyond when finding something left on the floor. She made a point to find the owner...rare quality to find in someone today.

July 9, 2024 I spent my entire 1 hour lunch break at this post office in line because they only had one person up there working! All I needed to do was give them my slips out my P.O. box so I could get my package! I'm closing my box here and going somewhere else because this isn't the first time. I've only been here 3 months working and everytime I come, there's a long wait! Unacceptable!

A worker (Julie, I believe) was very helpful and had great customer service. Understaffed and overworked, but she took the time to get me what I needed.

Today I visited the Oxford post office for my passport renewal. The staff handled everything promptly, efficiently, professionally, and courteously.

Jun 17 2025 4;05 pm we had to wait 25 !!! Min because they had only one person at the window … while we saw people walking laughing back and forth … our time is value too . I usually go to the “ small “ post office where people courteous , quick and efficient… the only problem : only open until 4:00 pm it is very frustrating…

I have filled out HOLD mail slips for two months now and the mail is not being held. It’s being either returned or sent to La La Land. Some of the mail attempting to be delivered is important mail, such as Voting registration cards and information regarding transferring nursing license and car tags. Also, missing is a box of checks. Upon the advice of the attendant at the window in Oxford, we put up a temporary mailbox where our house is being built, with no success at receiving our mail. Our mail is not being held. It is not being delivered either. I have tried to call multiple days to the local post office number and it rings and rings and no one ever answers.

Miss Tekiya B. is the sweetest most kindest person. She helped us get situated and accommodated our request! She was so polite and eager to help us. She went above and beyond to make sure we receive our mail!

I cannot imagine a worse post office situation than we have in Oxford, MS. Long lines, understaffed, frustrated customers and employees. It is an embarrassment to the USPS.

Worst Postal Service office ever. I moved around different states in my lifetime, never encountered postal service, so unorganized and insufficient. Always lines to the counter that almost mile long, never full stuff at the counters even though they have three stations I have never seen three operators working. More than often, there's only one operator who's working consistently. Terrible service, avoid it if possible.

I have been many times there and really impressed with their professionalism. Very polite, very humble. One of them is Dora, she is very very sweet, another person with glasses and one without glasses (I forgot their names), very very helpful. They guide you properly, they handle the things politely. I felt myself at home there..No words can express their good behavior.
Yes they need a bigger place, as the Oxford growing massively, this place is too small to cater 50k residents including more than 25k students. Give them big place and not staff.

The woman at the Oxford post office was extremely rude today. She talked down to me like a 3rd class citizen. She needs an attitude adjustment and some customer service training.
