In Oxford for my daughter's softball tournament and was looking for a place to have lunch during a break. Saw this little barbecue place attached to a gas station a couple miles away from the fields. Nothing special and the definition of a hole in the wall. Service was quick and polite. Once you ordered, you paid at the register of the gas station. They had a few tables to sit down and eat. Definitely a good value for what you get, a decent amount of fries and okra and two pieces of fish for 11 bucks. That included tax. Would definitely recommend it. The chicken looked pretty decent and so did some of the other stuff. Pretty standard southern fried food but I would definitely take it over Fast food place. It hit the spot during a long day of softball.

B's is absolutely fantastic. Smoked Chicken is the best in the world. Everything else is great too. Highly recommend and just because it's connected to a gas station.....don't let it fool you. Get there early as they do run out.......

Awesome BBQ, chill, friendly and clean despite being attached to a gas station. Iconic place everyone should hit up when in Oxford, MS!

Don't underestimate gas station. This place is a Oxford tradition for a reason. Best ribs in the state for sure. Get sauce if you want it, but it is so good you won't need it. The cook line ladies are fun and funny. And it is definitely the fastest meal in oxford.

Only had breakfast here but have heard the BBQ is really good. I see some negative reviews on the brisket, but who buys brisket in Mississippi? Pulled pork man! Get your brisket in Texas. Breakfast is just like your grandmother made it, eggs your way, grits, biscuits with gravy, bacon or sausage, etc. I thought it was just as good as "all the other" breakfast places in Oxford and reasonably priced.

It's great catfish, the service is impeccable, very fast food, it's in a gas station and that's very cool. The entire idea of ambiance in this place is kinda funny because it's in a gas station and it has awesome bbq.

The best part of my meal here was the canned Coca-Cola I had because their soda machine has the flattest soda this side of the Mississippi. The food is...underwhelming. Maybe it's because I come from Kansas City, but the brisket here is so bland. Felt like I was eating meat cardboard.

This has been my go to place for 10 years and prior to a couple of months ago only had one prior bad experience. I went about a month ago and it wasn't the same - I thought maybe it was an off day. Went back today and it was the same as before - not what it once was. Portion size half of what it was before, food not fully cooked, price about 30 percent higher and new employees without the same heart of appreciation for customers. The food was not the same. I mentioned to the cashier at check out and he said he has heard from other customers also.

Arrived at 8:01... sign on door stayed hours 6:00 am to 9:00 pm. I walked inside and the girl behind the counter said "we closed"! I said it's 8:01... she said we close at 9 pm. I reminded her again of the time... and she said "we need time to close up! Horrible horrible horrible service. Misleading customers. Management needs to state correct hours of operation on door and/or be willing to serve customers during the stated time. Pitiful.

First time here, stopped for lunch. Don't be deceived by its unassuming location in a gas station. I had the chicken and it was possibly the best smoked chicken ever. My mate was satisfied with the pulled pork sandwich -- also delish. Sides were fine.

I love this place. It is the crown jewel of gas station restaurants. The ladies that serve you your delicious barbecue platter always greet you with a nickname such as "sugar", "sweetie", or "honey" before asking you what you want to eat. It's that southern hospitality that makes this dining experience truly worth it. So, come and get yourself a brisket plate and a sweet tea (and okra too!) to remind yourself why you love living in Mississippi.

Best BBQ chicken I've ever had...I've been trying to duplicate or find a restaurant to fill the void if not being closer to B's since I left. I think they use a dry rub?

Super tasty. Definitely get the ribs if you like dry rub style. You can also get a vinegary sauce on the side to make them as wet or dry as you like. Get the baked beans as a side -- they are DIVINE. Will definitely be returning.

Down home people with down home food. Quick service at a great price for the portions. My problem is that I could make the food so much better myself at home. The potatoes are definitely instant and seem watery. With all the business they get, it seems they could make fresh mashed potatoes without losing that much money in the long run. All the meat is way too dry. All that being said, I still find myself eating because of convenience and wanting to support a great local business.
