**** at Oxford Muffler and Auto repair is absolutely the best. My daughter who is a student at Ole Miss had her check engine light come on and we could not find anyone to service her car on short notice. I called **** and he told her to bring it right over and they would look it over. He called me 20 minutes after she dropped off her car, told me what the repair was and that they would get to it right away. He not only had her car fixed in less than 24 hours he told me that she should get her tires replaced fairly soon. He was genuinely concerned for her safety and well being and he made her feel much better about getting her transportation back to her on such short notice.\nWe will rely on **** and Oxford Muffler exclusively in the future if we need auto repairs in Oxford, MS.

I brought my car here with a rusted through exhaust pipe and service was great from the start. They were honest and genuine and when my car was not ready in time, they lended me a vehicle to pick up a friend from the airport. Great customer service and great prices.

This is a 10 star review. These guys got me out of a situation with my electric connections with my car lights and hitch/trailer. Basically I was moving and my Uhaul trailer light connections weren’t working so I couldn’t even get the trailer out of the Uhaul parking lot without the lights working. I had to leave town within 12hrs and was desperately looking for someone to help me fix or at least look at my light connections. I came into the shop expecting to be turned down, like i had been the past 4 shops I visited. They listened to my problem and with a huge smile they said they would look at it and fix it to get me on my way. Right away they started working on it prioritizing my car (which they could easily told me to wait until they were done with their day worth of work but didn’t). I would come back 1000 times and will recommend this shop to anyone and everyone. Very grateful to John and every mechanic of this shop for taking my car in as a walk in. Definitely not a place I recommend for engine work! They said they could fix what I wanted fixed but saw it and proceeded to tell me it was something major just so they didn’t have to do it! To them it’s there way or the highway!

My brother took his truck there to have exhaust replaced and a diagnostic test. They did the diagnostic test but never replaced the exhaust because they lost the keys and wouldnt get new key made.

My brother took his truck to have a diagnostic test and exhaust replaced. They did the diagnostic but not the exhaust BECAUSE they lost the keys after they moved the truck to the gravel area. They accused him of taking the keys when he came to check on the truck. They then agreed to pay for new keys to be cut and when the locksmith came they backed out on paying for the keys and told my brother he's lucky they didnt charge him storage fees for THEIR mistake. So he was out of $500 for basically no service!!! Terrible service and very dishonest.

Just now writing a review, but a couple of Decembers back, I had John and his team quote an partial engine replacement for a Hemi in a Jeep Grand Cherokee for over $5,000. While he said they would know how to do the work, we had trouble for several months afterwards, going back and forth to his shop. April of 2020, the day after getting the Cherokee back from Oxford Muffler, we had more engine trouble and felt like I'd given John's guys enough chances to fix the car. We took it to Collierville Jeep with it dying a couple of times along the way. They told us the engine was full of metal shavings. John did not offer to give me my money back.Service: Engine repair
