Maxxsouth in the last year is terrible. We have been customers over 20 years and steadily the service has declined. We have landline, internet and cable with them. Always a problem from no internet or landline and having to reboot modem once or twice a week some weeks. Today no tv service and technician can not come out today. Will be tomorrow. Did give me a $20 credit, but that is an insult as to the amount of time I have spent on phone trying to solve problem, then taking more of my time tomorrow. I hate paying for poor service. Would not recommend anyone use MaxxSouth.On a positive note, most of the people I deal with are nice, but will not let you talk to the GM or anyone with any authority.

Worst customer service wouldn't recommend it to anyone. You'll sit on the phone for hours just to be transferred or hung up on because a representative doesn't want to actually help with problems over the phone

MaxxSouth caused severe damage to my yard while I was away on vacation. Our doorbell camera recorded their employees moving a large machine with tracks throughout my yard and nearly all the way to my front door. This machine left several large ruts that they did not even attempt to repair. They also buried a box that is not even close to level with the ground, and left a poor surface area around the new box. MaxxSouth has hit power lines and water lines throughout our neighborhood over their past month of work and now they have damaged my property without my consent. I can't comment on their internet service because I would never consider being a customer to a company that has no regard for their customers property, but I assume their internet quality is comparable to the quality of their installation work, which is beyond poor.

Maxxsouth math250 MBPS = 38 MBPS.Leaving this review using cellular data because of course the internet is out again. Since noon. Good job.I absolutely love paying for a service that I am not receiving. Will be switching providers immediately. New options are appearing in Oxford. I recommend people look for quality internet service elsewhere.

Decently good when it works. Keyword is “when”. There are regular outages for no reason. They are the only provider in my area so they have no incentive to provide competitive service apparently.

Absolutely appalling internet and even worse customer service.When the internet isn't dropping out every five minutes, the fastest it runs is barely 5Mbps. Third world countries had better internet than this a decade ago.And then when I call their customer services to ask what's going on, they lie about not being able to find my account and then pretend to transfer me to another department that has already gone home for the day.They are an abomination and the people that run this "company" should be ashamed of themselves - their own parents certainly are.

CHOOSE C-SPIRE IF POSSIBLE. A sorry excuse for an internet provider. Internet constantly goes out and many calls have been made to try to deal with the outages. They also love taking their sweet time with fixing as well. As for their customer service, they often lie to cover their company’s faults. It is very easy to catch them in their lies because they often respond with the basic responses that are often copied and pasted. It is a wonder that they haven’t been fired yet considering their job can be easily automated. Maybe the CEO should consider this option when cutting corners instead providing terrible internet. This is sad company that only makes money preying on the ill-informed households that put up with their terrible service.

Actually much worse than 1. More like minus 10 or greater. I'm a senior paying nearly $300 / month for internet and channels that are rarely watched just to get the few channels I watch. 3 months ago there was some kind of change made by maxxsouth and I can now only get full screen in 3-6 channels that I watch. Got service call and rep said I would need to buy new roku tvss to get full screen. No tv or internet now as again problem in my serv I ce area. They do not care and are a total tip off. You can email and never get a response. Stay as far away as possible from maxxsouth.

The absolute worst customer service in the city of Oxford. A total rip off, troubleshooting 5 to 6 times a day for $70 a month…. Be careful guys, they don’t do refunds!

Have called multiple times for 3 months. Individual technicians very nice and polite. HOWEVER, problems with Internet, Cable, WiFi, Landline phone still keeps going out. They say problem is outside but it continues to be giving us problems!! People in Ohio are nice who sees that it’s not working, but when the technicians come, it’s working most of time. I just wonder if they will really fix it, because they’re putting in fiber optic in neighboring subdivision!

I would like to know of anyone within this organization that has even a minimal level of competency to answer questions as to when my internet service will be restored.For the last four (4) days, I have received nothing but the runaround and excuses.Horrible customer service, horrible services.

Dog water internet that drops constantly. They send pretend to fix the problems by sending out techs that can’t do anything because max south is the problem not anything in the home like the router

First year was great. Hit that 12 month mark got speeds dropped to 11-25mbps when I was getting 180+ that happened from July-Nov since I keep getting disconnected randomly. Everytime I call "oh everything is green on our end not sure that to tell you." Had a tech come out one say and he said "huh the inside of the box looks like one of the lines was hit by lightning, looks like you shouldn't even be getting service, but you are so I'm not touching it" and he leftNever doing business with them again, I'm getting another ISP at a lower speed to stop dealing with them.
