Bad experience. I called them several times and was told twice they ship packages. I asked specifically both times does it have to be a specific carrier like FedEx amd they said no it didn't matter as long as I had a label for it. Had me drive all the way up there wasting my meal break at work just to tell me they can't ship it because it's usps. They could've been honest on the phone. Not sure why they had to lie or what they got out of stealing my time and gas..

On top of the other issues I've had with this CVS (prescriptions not being ready, taking too long, not enough employees), today took the cake. Uneka, one of the pharmacists was the rudest person I have ever interacted with. I have never had so much unnecessary attitude. I called before going, and later put together that it was her on the phone as well as in person. On the phone, she was extremely rude and was even worse in person. For context, I was the only person in line and only needed one prescription but the way that she interacted with me was unacceptable. It was so bad that I told her she looked miserable, which she said she was and didn't want to be there. I understand having a bad day, but this woman should NOT be interacting with other people if this is how she treats them.

Take way too long to get my prescription or don’t even have it ready when it should’ve been a day before. Texted me it was ready as I’m waiting at the window for 20 minutes in hot ms weather. 1 star isn’t even as low as I’d go for this place

I prefer this pharmacy over walgreens because the wait drive thru lines are much shorter BUT the pharmacists are SO rude every single time! Even on the phone when you’re refilling a prescription!

I switched to CVS on all services because I thought they were more respectful. I've always had great customer service. Today I went by and picked up my monthly medication and the lady that was at the drive thru was ridiculously rude. Her name was Lindsey and I was there on June 12, 2023 at 4:30 PM. Might be switching back to Walgreens if I have to see her again. People like that make businesses lose business.

My daddy has to use CVS pharmacy because of his insurance. If he didn't have to use this pharmacy we wouldn't. I call each time to make sure his prescription is ready because they are bad about not filling when it's called in. One medicine he has to take we have to call a few days before he needs it because they don't keep it in stock and they have to order it. You would think when it comes in they would fill it since we called a few days before he is out, but No! So I called and asked if it was ready and they said they were working on it and it would be ready after 2:30. I go to pick it up and go through the drive thru since there is only 1 car in front of me. Wrong decision, I had to wait 15 minutes. Finally it's my turn and I get to the window and they tell me they are working on it. It's 3:15 and they are still working on it? Then they the manager of the pharmacy comes over and tells me I have to move because there are cars behind me. I was there less than 5 minutes. I asked why the car in front of me was allowed to sit for over 15 minutes and was told that they were helping that customer. Then why couldn't I wait until my prescription was ready since they were working on it? Mind you they had been working on it since 11:00. So someone wasn't telling the truth! Also the manager said that they don't know when their shipment of medicines come in each day so they tell customers prescriptions will be ready after 4:45, not what I was told. They need to tell customers the truth not lie to them because they think that is what the customer wants. I wouldn't have been so upset with them if they would have been honest and upfront with me from the beginning and had been told the prescription would not be ready until 4:45. I live 20 miles from there and had groceries in my car that needed to be put in freezer and the manager wanted me to circle and go to the back of the line, which would mean I would be waiting another 30 minutes or more. Not good CVS. This is the CVS in Oxford,MS on Jackson Ave.

One star is not low enough for this pharmacy. It needs to be shut down. They are a danger to Oxford. I know numerous people who do not get their meds because of CVS’s “mess ups” monthly and they could die without these particular medications. Pitiful excuse for a pharmacy.

Probably one of the worst pharmacies I have ever used. It takes more than 4 days to get a script filled every month, I need this medicine for health issues and it always takes them so long to fill them. I cannot believe how bad they are, never using them again and I suggest anyone who is reading this should not use them as well.

This pharmacy is sub par on a good day, the wait it absolutely insane! Dont go here if you have a prescription that is a controlled substance, because they will definitely be rude to you, and might not fill it. Chaney's pharmacy is not that far up the road and they are so great!! Super fast and friendly service, and a really cute atmosphere where you can order frozen yogurt or coffee while you wait.

There isn't a worse pharmacy in the country. Their policy is when they 'fill' a prescription they actually wait until you come to the drive through and then ask you to drive around for 45 minutes while they actually fill it. Creates a 1.5 hour pharmacy pickup for something you've already waited days for. Coming in to town to pick up a quick prescription? Not gonna happen. They also filled some of controlled medications inconsistently and potentially fraudulently and I fear there could be some medication diversion happening through the Oxford CVS. I'm done. In the end I just can't see working with anyone with such absolutely horrible customer service. I only wish I could give them negative stars because 1 star is a significant overshoot.

Took me 1.5 hours to get a simple antibiotic for my 1 year old and then get home to realize they didn’t even mix it and it was straight powder instead of liquid!!!! Will NEVER go back.

Worst place ever. I placed a order online for photo pick up and KAYLA made me pay for it twice after I already told her I paid for it online. Along with that my receipt would not print and the manager could not seem to get me my receipt, she brought me 3 receipt that weren’t mine. Very basic task can not be preformed.

I try to give this pharmacy the benefit of the doubt each time I fill a prescription here. I know they have a high surge of prescriptions in a college town while also assisting non student customers. It always seems they have new pharmacy students from the ole miss program there every couple of months and I get it they are learning. But I have never had a smooth experience besides one or two workers that are helpful. They tell me they have the medicine in stock only for me to wait 24+ hours for my prescription which they would tell me would be ready on the afternoon in which I gave them my doctors refill note. So then you wait for around 20 - 25 minutes on the phone to speak to an actual person working in the pharmacy after navigating their awful over the phone pre recorded voice assistant. So finally you talk to a worker and they check your prescription status and say they actually don't have your specific medicine but don't worry they placed an order telling you it should be at the pharmacy in four days. I wouldn't have given my refill to this specific pharmacy if I had known that and wasn't lied to. In my experience it is well worth the drive to the Pontotoc cvs pharmacy to see how normal operations should work. The CVS on Jackson mantra is to just lie and tell the customers what they want to hear so they can place your prescription on a pile of hundreds of others and move on to the next car or person. The reason for my lengthy review is this is now the fourth time this exact situation has happened to me (I know shame on me for trying this many times) and I'm dumbfounded at how poor the daily work order at this pharmacy is.

This location absolutely never answers the phone, nor do they refill prescriptions in a timely manner. Each month I have to physically go to the pharmacy to pick up a routinely scheduled prescription only to be told that I should call in advance next time and come back in a few hours, sometimes days. However, I’ve called prior to arrival each and every time, but spend 30+ listening to a recording about the Covid Vaccine only to never speak to a human being. This pharmacy’s manner of handling patient relations is abhorrent—nearly incompetent. This location desperately needs new management or a drastic change in protocol.
