Since my auto payment was not accepted on February 2, my life has been a living hell trying to correct that. And, I believe I’ve incurred a few hundred dollars in late fees. AmeriGas customer service is truly broken.

If I could give Amerigas 0 stars I would. We ran out of propane even though we ordered gas on 1-10-24. Our gas arrived 16 days later. So no heat, hot water or stove for a week. Your customer service was 0 help. They just kept saying " it will arrive tomorrow ". As soon as this tank is close to being empty, we are switching providersm

It was the absolute worst experience trying to order propane in my life! Not only did I have to make several phone calls and stay on the phone with someone who LEM I could barely understand, I also never got my order of propane until I ordered it myself online. I was also billed for 150 gallons of propane that I have never received and have made several phone calls and the issue still hasn’t been resolved.
So a quick update 12/29/2023, I emailed Amerigas at the email they provided in their response to this review… It’s been several days and I have yet to get a response from them. Nor has the fraudulent charges been removed from my account. I will keep updating this review as things progress.

I'll never use you again. I got bamboozled. Never spoke with anyone to discuss price. Propane was delivered before I even knew what I was paying. Money was taken from my account without my permission
And was sent a paper bill AFTER money was taken without my permission. You got me that time
But never again.

My gas line was accidentally pulled out from the shut off before the regulator during a fence demo. I shut the valve, and a delivery driver stopped by within the hour and locked out the valve, and indicated a tech would be out to reconnect. It has been two weeks and I still cannot get a repair or a date for a repair. I have called multiple times. We have had no hot water for the duration. My wife is handicapped and it is difficult getting her bathed with no hot water. I am ready to change providers.

Was pleasantly surprised to see Amerigas repeatedly come back today to fit my schedule, even meeting me when I finally got home at 8pm after several attempts throughout the day. Their driver Patrick was courteous and cared about our safety, verifying that our house was safe. I switched from Suburban two years ago due to terrible customer service, and every time Amerigas delivers I am thankful for that decision.
