I've been a customer of this Gateway since it opened about 25 years ago. I've always had them do tires and alignments on my personal and commercial vehicles as well as heavy equipment and farm vehicles. This particular store mostly, in fact. Stan has been the only major issue I have ever had with Gateway. He has the crappiest attitude towards people and for some reason is always extremely rude and difficult to deal with. I cannot imagine this company wanting him to be the first thing people have to deal with coming into their store. I have had several other people tell me the same thing. I've used Gateways all over the place and have never had a problem, just him.

I took my car to Gateway on Hacks Cross so aggravated I didn’t know what was wrong. I just dropped it off one morning and left it. They called and told me what was wrong. They had it fixed before I got off work?
The entire staff was awesome!!!!
Great job well done to everyone involved. I had issues years ago and wouldn’t go back.
I’m so glad I gave them another chance.

Last February 2023 . Had my alternator replaced . It seemed high for everything. My alternator went out yesterday. Took my car to a different mechanic. Explained when I bought the alternator. He said there is no way that alternator should be bad already! Called Gateway back. Spoke to Stan. He was Rude . I don’t like posting reviews. But after what I have paid last year. It pissed me off. I see other bad reviews. Beware

I have left a Google review once before for the olive branch Goodman road location. After the review they did offer their apologies and I returned for some service. No more. Took sons truck there to replace 4 tires that we supplied that they mounted. They miss weighted the mounts one off by 7.5 pounds that caused severe wobbling. We thought it was ball joints but Chevrolet caught the problem. Another was off 4 pounds. The problems are becoming too numerous. Approximately 14 years done.

I bought new wheels for my Maxima & took them here to have them put on. I thought everything was fine until I got up to 50mph & my front end was shaking. I brought my car back & Stan walked me back to show me my wheel & tire on a spinner & tried to tell me my rim was bent & tried to tell me I mustve hit a pothole! 1st off I don't hit potholes! My rim definitely didnt look bent either! An hour later he pulls my car around front & comes in to tell me all your rims are bent, sorry we did the best we could. I left & my car was shaking worse than before! I went back when I got off work & Stan then tried to tell me maybe they aren't bent but the lug nuts were off sett making the rims defective! I had them put my original rims back on. I went to Darby's automotive for a 2nd opinion & they said they were fine & had them put back on my car in less than 2 hours & it drives perfect ? I went straight back to gateway & got a full refund! I'll never go back to this Gateway for anything!

Mr. Stan gateway hacks cross is very dishonest. I came in with a nail in my tire and Mr. Stan tried to sell me a Mitch Mac tire when I didn’t need one. I was very spectacle when i had all tires to leak air one after the other within two months. This was my fourth time with a air leak..That’s when Mr. Stan thought he found a vulnerable Woman! Long story short… I stood my ground and walked out. Mr. Stan diagnosis was the nail in my tire was in place where they couldn’t remove it. He said trying to remove it will ruin my tire. Be careful of the Mr. Stan’s. After all said a done. I just so happen to take a look at tire in question and there it was the long lost nail in plane sight! Unbelievable! Mr. Stan didn’t think much of my intelligence! I will never go to any gateway tire store. DONE

I've been going here for years but never again!!! first off they call me to let me know they don't know where I've been taking my truck to but that the lug nuts were worn out. ummm you guys sir!!! I buy my tires there! Then he started backpedaling saying it’s normal wear and tear.
He gave me a total price of what they recommended I get done. After speaking with my husband I declined most work and asked them to just rotate my tires and replace lug nuts. He never gave me a new price! I never knew how much they over charge for lug nuts. come to find out once I got there it was almost $300 in lug nuts and they had also completed the oil change I had declined. I had to pay out of pocket $429. I believe it was the manager that removed the oil change charge but $429 to rotate tires that I believe should be free since I bought my tires there. This is insane and lesson learned for sure!! NEVER buying tires from here or getting service done!! if you're overpricing items at least give customers a price before completing the work.oh and they charge almost $80 for a scan that doesn’t really read all codes!

This place is only interested in charging you dealer repair cost. I had a thermostat replaced,2 bolts and they charged me about $100 an hour. They didn't even put anti-freeze in my reservoir. I asked them to put in 2 new bolts. They didn't do it or replace the housing. I will go to the dealership in the future. Discount tire is a more honest tire company to deal with.

Horrible place broke down outside and I had a spare of my own they had no decency at all. A woman with 2 kids. I asked for help and they said they could not help me, I have to buy a new tire because this one was obviously busted. I’m paying for a tow truck instead of spending a dime at a place like that. Wrong color and the right place

They take too long just for a patch!!!!
I'm really upset about them.
They take too long to make a patch. They are very slow to work. I waited more than 3 hours just for that. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT if you want to leave quickly it is definitely not recommended.
