Too busy. Takes almost a week to get in. If you not in a rush. Probably great. I could not get an appointment. Sooner than seven days out.

Still, this business continues to avoid responsibility for very bad unprofessional behavior. This right here is such a great example of my experience here. I called to simply ask a question regarding my cats heart worm meds that I had the test for from her vet within the year. I simply called this place to ask a question regarding getting her one heartworm topical for her(with the test on paper from her other vet), and they told me they could not provide me with this. I then called back to ask to have my vet call me back but instead was called back by the office manager. WOW. Can you say Nazi, going overboard with "laws"? And speaking of, since you have written back, let's talk about those laws that the office manager was willing to break. When the office manager called me back he told me he would provide me with a 6 month script for my other cat that usually went to this vet, and I could use that as I saw fit, wink wink. Meaning he was going to give me a 6 month script that I denied because they had blown this whole thing out of proportion . The first time was with a question that I never gave them a name for. So if the first time with my question I had never given my name, only asked a question how did they have all of my info? I will tell you, they saw my number and looked me up. When I called back to talk to my vet was when I left my name. So if you call and ask a question they will keep your info? That's what they did with me and when I called back to speak with my vet they would not let me assuming I would ask him about one silly dose of a topical that I had a script for but it was late getting to me. My other cat and dog had seen the vet and I had the others tests and they knew that so no I was not breaking and laws. Ha. It was for one topical that my cat had the test for but they wound not take that. That is overboard and the lady that answered was so nasty, along with the others at this practice and she was going to let me know I was not getting that one topical. This was waaaaay overboard and they are making it sound like me but really someone there wanted to be snotty and give me a hard time. If you are so worried about laws being broken the manager would not have offered me a 6 pack topical for my other cat, and tell me I could use it how I saw fit meaning for my other cat. When I refused he was shocked and said he was trying to help me by providing the 6 pack for my other cat that saw this vet, so I could give it to my cat that was seeing a diff vet. I was in the process of having all my pets be seen by Dr. Duke but have 4 so it's a process. I do have the tests for everyone and they knew that but wanted to be nasty. When I declined and he was shocked and said he wanted to help me I told him I did not want to step foot back in the place after they'd made such a ridiculous big deal out of one topical that I had tests for. So if it was about your laws why did your office manager offer me a 6 pack and tell me I could use it for the very cat we are speaking of and writing about today? Maybe the Board of DVM would like to hear our call. Lady, you went overboard so now I'll post every bit of info here like I've just done. Your response was typical of someone trying to save face and blame the other person..... Nope. So see this place is super crazy and has gone waaaaay overboard on that day and now trying to save face on Yelp. People do not take your pets here. They are crazy!

So I brought my dog here to get fixed and they kept him overnight and when I got my dog back home he was itching uncontrollably (he has never done this before) so called and asked what was going on and they said well you can bring him here and sit in the parking lot for two hours or I could figure something out on my own. At this point I'm hoping maybe somebody has had the same problem as me and knows how to treat this.

Unfortunately the service that we have enjoyed over many years has faded. I understand the health precautions needed during these times but after a year there should be some updating on policies. If we can work with these challenges with other practices then we should be able to find a solution here. Staff was not understanding of our concerns despite a previous medication mistake with one of our pups. Service went from great to feeling like nothing but a number. After requesting records for our four pets to be transferred to another vet, we weren't even asked if there was a problem. Just justified our feeling of being just a number.

Dr King is our primary veterinarian, and has been since 2013. I’ve never met a more compassionate, understanding and professional vet that takes their time to understand the pets needs, their psychological well-being, as well as medical. My only complaint is that she can’t see me!

We bring our dog and kitten to bienville because Dr. Dill is wonderful and so is the whole team. Everyone in the office truly seems to care about your pet. We will never bring our pets anywhere else. Side NOTE: My parents brought their baby, Coco (their dog) to Bienville for years. Coco quickly developed a lump. Dr. Duke diagnosed her with cancer and she did not have long to live, Dr. Duke was so very sympathetic. My father refused to put her down. He got a second opinion and it was the same diagnosis. He took her home to be with them knowing she did not have long to live. Unfortunately Coco refused to eat and was in a lot of pain, she lost her balance and couldn't even go to to restroom without help. My parents didn't want to bother the vet thinking they couldn't help and afraid if they brought her, that would be the last they would see her. I called Bienville on Coco's behalf. They were closed. It was a late Saturday afternoon. Their service had the "on call" doctor return my call immediately. I asked if there was anything that could be done to make their baby comfortable. She said "Absolutely!" She said, "I am going to the office (which, again was closed), please meet me there and I will give you some medication to help their baby." That touched my heart. I picked up the medicine and we gave it to Coco. Coco seemed much better, she ate her dinner, went outside then sat in my Dad's arms (her favorite place.) My dad held Coco all night in his arms sitting in his recliner. She passed away during the night in his arms. I can't thank the doctors enough for their sympathy during such a heartbreaking time and giving my parents a little peace seeing their baby eat and drink and be comfortable on her last day with us. She passed away right where she wanted to be, comfortably and in my Dad's arms. Bienville is wonderful.

We have had such a wonderful experience with bienville animal medical center so far! With our first pet and being new to the area, we were nervous about picking a vet. We definitely picked the right place! Everyone is friendly, helpful, and patient. Even when they are busy, we always get 5-star service. They all clearly love animals and love what they do. Everyone from the office staff to the vets are great. We will continue coming here, as well as boarding our dog here.

I am EXTREMELY particular about who our animals see (to the point of actually calling around and asking a list of questions before settling on one) and we have fallen in love with Bienville Animal Medical Center. Everyone there is so nice and helpful that when we end up PCSing in May they're going to be the thing I miss most about Keesler!

Great service and the veterinarians are awesome. I took my English Bulldog there for an ultrasound and was pleased from start to finish. I had to wait a bit, but it's understandable for such excellent service. The receptionist was friendly which is what one should expect. I got the ultrasound done on my dog which it turned out she was pregnant with live babies in her. After taking her to two other vets wasted my money because they did not do ultrasounds but told me over the phone they did. One vet told me she may have dead babies in her because he could not see the skeletons of the babies clearly on xrays. They are also very reasonably priced.

I had no appointment and they still made time to see me within 5 mins of going because my little guy was having a bad allergic reaction. David, the assistant, was super sweet-as were all of the gals behind the counter. Dr. Dill was so kind. He showed me photos of his own cats, Baker and Hammer, which made me feel less nervous right away about coming to a brand new place. They gave my guy a shot and sent us on our way. Very affordable and amazing service all around. I'll never go anywhere else.

Bienville Animal Medical Center has been treating my pets for nearly 19 years and I continue to utilize their services even though I have moved to Saucier from Ocean Springs. Dr. Duke and staff took very good care of my Lady girl (cocker spaniel/golden retriever mix) for the 19 years of her life. If it wasn't for the professional care provided by the whole staff to include boarding as well, Lady would not have lived as long as she did. Dr. Duke gave us the privacy to be with Lady before her passing and explained how her organs were failing and she had maybe 1-2 days to live. Instead of letting her suffer, Dr. Duke ran the blood works and tests per my request to find out if there was anything would could do for her. Lady went in peace as my wife and I remained by her side until she took her last breath and went peacefully to doggie heaven.. All the arrangements were made to have Lady cremated and I was promptly notified when to pick up her remains. All the Vets and staff who worked there for 19 years has Lady listed as the kennel escape artist running down Hwy 90 on a few occasions by climbing the kennel fence. She loved Bienville Animal Medical Center and so does my dogs Coco, Cola and Rain. You all are the BEST! Thank you for caring and affection always shown to my doggies, wife and I!

I used to love this place. My favorite vet was Doctor Palermo, who I recently found out retired. Instead I scheduled an appointment with another vet here. She asked me to get my own fecal exam for my dog and she added something to my dog without asking me. I intentionally came in only planning on spending $94 like they said on the phone and when I got there for vaccines ONLY. The vet applied something to my dog without asking me first. It costed me $70 extra for applying it and for the product. The product was otic solution for cleaning doggy ears. $50 for this one time application of claro otic solution and $17 to have the vet apply it. I never asked for this service. I can buy otic solution for way less than $50. This vet scammed me. I didn't even get to see the product. BAD SERVICE. I couldn't figure out why this vet didn't want to give my dog a fecal exam. I had to beg her to do the fecal exam. Dr. Christine Longo did this. I don't know why she applied something to my dog without telling me first and why she didn't want to give him a fecal exam. My vet bill was a total of $165.50. This is the last I will ever go to this practice.

I've been remiss in not leaving a review for this vet. I was a customer for over ten years. I'm not a customer now only because I moved away and dont' want to drive 45 minutes with an animal to see a vet for routine stuff. But if you live nearby, you should consult them as your families vet.
