I've always loved this place but today I did not enjoy it. Me and my friends came in and the service was poor. She messed up my friends sandwich and after telling her the correct one it took very long for them to fix it. One women had a poor attitude when I told her my unsweet tea did not taste right she responded with an attitude saying, "I've been drinking it all day what is wrong with it"? And continued to ask it over and over after I told her it didn't taste right. For $26 and simple food I think they should treat their customers with respect. Won't be going back for a while.

Weird store/resturant. I walked in expecting a vintage store but items to buy are very limited and not impressive. We decided to eat lunch, prices were a bit high, but didn't seem excessive at first. We ordered sandwiches, and received very basic deli sandwiches on basic sandwich bread, I guess I was expecting some nice home made bread for the price. Cheese also costs extra. They tasted fine, just like every basic sandwich you can make at home. Definitely won't be back.

Cobb has found a favorite place to eat. He ate there earlier in the week. He loved the Turkey sandwich and Elvis Presley milkshake. I took him there again today. Friendly folks and great food. Sandra Wilson, the owner. Is longtime friend of mine. I highly recommend for lunch. New Albany

Charming, very interesting interior.. There is a separate candy counter and ice cream counter. I wanted to try some candy and my friend considered trying some ice cream. I stood at the candy counter with an item in hand - and walked to the other counter but no one greeted us or asked what we wanted, and we left - a bit odd.

Great lunch today! Have visited New Albany for years and this is my first visit! Definitely, not my last visit! I had the salad plate and it was fantastic! The chicken salad and the fruit salad are worth the trip! Great seeing Judy! Will recommend to friends!

This place is great. Friendly staff. Service is always the best. Can’t go wrong with any of their sandwiches. The milkshakes are awesome. The atmosphere is very nostalgic. Like an old soda fountain.

This was our first time here and we Loved it! The sandwich we ordered was perfect and meaty. Of course we couldn’t leave with out dessert, so we got a chocolate sundae with chocolate sprinkles and whipped cream (my 6 year olds request). It was delicious!
