How can you claim that your serving the community if your service is only offered to so many? You're in New albany and your in myrtle, but you don't service me or any of my neighbors and we are in this community too.Addendum; It took 5 months to get a reply to this review. If that's indicative of the service provided, I'm glad we were neglected.

Maxxsouth has been charging me for equipment they never provided for 2 and a half years and then sent me a bill for another $250 because I couldn't turn it in since they never gave it to me when I cancelled my service. So their mesh system costs about $700 apparently. I have been with this company for over 20 years and have never had too many issues but since I left to go to Tombigbee for fiber (at a cheaper price and better service) this is how they treated me. At the local New Albany branch they wouldn't let me talk to anyone except the front desk person and she said she would escalate the situation and call me by the end of the day but never called. They refused to give me a number to the local office so I couldn't call and follow up with them and the 800 number billing people are useless as this has been going on for 4 months. They also charged me for an extra month after I cancelled.Unfortunately they are one of the only providers in the area until Cspire or Tombigbee gets to more people but if you have this service I would suggest checking your billing and definitely would not do the automatic draft. Really sad because I would have gone back to them when they got fiber but not now.

We just moved here and have been trying to get internet for quite some time now . We saw the $19.99 advertised for the first few months for Maxx South and we thought that was a good deal, of course we were told because we have a fiber line it’s $44.99 a month and we couldn’t get the deal, which was a little misleading from the ad but we were essentially ok with that. However, when we went into the store they couldn’t find our address, even though our neighbors have the service. It took 4 visits to the store and several phone calls before we finally got that fixed. In fact, on the 3rd visit we walked in and the girl literally just looked at me and my husband and said “He’s not here today”. I’m not sure who “he” is but that is the only greeting or words spoken to us that visit, so we just left. I tried to stop in a few days later but the door was locked and there was a note on the door saying they were “running errands” and would be back in 30 minutes. After waiting 45 minutes with no one coming to open the store back up, I just left again with no internet service. Finally, after several phone calls we were told that we were good to continue with installation which they scheduled for today and told us to be home and available from 8am to 6 pm for installation. We waited and no one ever came nor called. Finally, around 6pm we called to ask about the installation. The guy from Maxx South told us that we had been rescheduled for the 27th instead. Of course, we were never told about this nor updated in any way! I have NEVER had this problem getting service in my life ?, I guess I will have better luck using my hotspot on my phone! This has been the most unbelievably unprofessional and poor service that I have ever experienced!

We had consistency issues, so Maxxsouth tech encouraged us to switch to Fiber. The switch was easy, its cheaper and faster, the techs were super nice, and so far so good. I'm updating my bad review to a good review for now bc Maxxsouth took the time to fix the problem and every employee has been really nice and helpful, which is really appreciated.

Hands down the worst internet service I've ever dealt with. If it rains...internet out...sun shines....internet out. Multiple times a month we are without internet.But they don't deduct it from our bill that's for sure. We never get a full month of service. And forget getting service technicians out quickly.. update...five months later there has not been a single day when the internet has not gone out. We upgraded to the fastest service they have and got a new router. This has made 0 difference. Internet is not suppose to go put every few minutes. Looks like next move is AT&T!!

My mother has had trouble with her internet service for over 2 years ..everytime a tech. Would come out they would say no problem. But still they could see signals low so she asked for a credit and was denied after 2 years of trouble not a little credit .. Tony Churchill denied the credit Shame on him considering he came and had to rewire ...this company is sad to bad no other providers around
