Hands down, this is the best shop for plants, floral work and fine gifts in our miss lou area. John Grady is the owner. He welcomed each visitor with grace and southern charm. Go!

Great products and incredible service. My neighbor's relative recently passed away, so I called Nest and ordered flowers to be delivered. They quickly made the flower arrangement, delivered them to my neighbor, and left the receipt in my mailbox across the street. The owner was very kind and his prices are reasonable considering how nice his products are. Highly recommended!

I'm still unsure about this shop. I was looking for some new indoor plants, and after viewing the beautiful photos on the website, decided this place might be a good match for me. I'm not sure if I just went inside on an off day or if folks had come in and made a lot of purchases, but the items offered were kinda' limited. It just wasn't what I expected to see after viewing the website. I have been very confused about some of the shops in Natchez, and this is another for that list. To add to the weird experience, while crossing in the crosswalk at the corner to get to Nest, a woman in a very loud & large green colored 4 door older SUV tried to run us over in the crosswalk. I think she may live downtown as I was fairly certain I had seen her before. She and I ended up in a screaming match when I tried to educate her that pedestrians with the WHITE WALK LIGHT have the right of way before she can turn, regardless of whether her light is green green. She disagreed, got out of her vehicle and said to me "White woman I will beat you!", oh and she also called me a "racist" go figure. Luckily I carried my pocket knife that day, which is useful if you ever need to get a little DNA for the PD. But don't worry folks, you could easily out-run this overweight woman if this happens to you. The sad part is that her kid(s?) were in the car and they will probably only remember two things from the entire exchange...that all white people are apparently racist and that they don't have to obey the law or stop for pedestrians. As it turns out, that woman decided to get right back into her car, so it was all just a bunch of blow on her part. I've only lived here two months but having a stranger try to run me over, call me a racist simply for legally walking in the crosswalk, and make an illegal turn into pedestrians, can't be good for the tourism side of things. It may also explain why the entire downtown is nearly empty and also explain the ridiculous white privilege I have seen in the 2+ months I've been here. I am crossing my fingers that the recent elections take this town in a more positive direction cause Natchee' got' some issues. Oh! I almost forgot! Thank you to the sweet cashier at Nest for asking me if I was okay after this exchange. Some really kind folks work in this store!
