Go primarily to buy bags of corn to feed deer. Good price and sales tax lower in Mississippi than Alabama.

I walked in asking to work for a plate of food. The lady bought me a plate and dink plus gave me a job. I'm so grateful for her.

I don't know how anyone can shop here, their business practices are horrible. They package the meat so that the labels cover up any bad spots and put "Reduced" stickers over the expiration dates on things so they can get away with selling expired food. If you have bad products, throw it out! I guess you can do anything you want when you're the only grocery store in town, but I would rather drive somewhere else than feed my family the kind of food they sell here. I don't know how the health department meets them get away with it.

Do not purchase milk from this location. It will go bad before the expiration date every time (often 4-5 days early). The prices are higher than any other store you may shop at within a 30 minute drive (Rouses, Winn Dixie, Walmart, Piggly Wiggly, etc).

Greer's in Hurley, MS is a nice grocery store that features a food bar with seating. The food is delicious and the prices are good. Very good coffee and tea.

Better off getting making the drive to lucedale or Mobile so you can get a better price on groceries.
