I went into store this last Saturday and was very disappointed with the makeup section. I was prepared to spend some money but the displays were very messy and I couldn’t find actual products to buy - only dirty looking samples. There was no one available to help either. But the girl at the checkout counter was very friendly - I didn’t get any expensive make up tho

I went to the Meridian Ulta for a haircut the other day and let me just say it is one of the BEST haircuts I have ever had. Kristen was the stylist and she did an excellent job. She’s super friendly and extremely knowledgeable about her profession. I would definitely recommend and will be a repeat customer.

Meridian Ulta has an excellent staff. Destiny was very very helpful and knowledgeable. I shop this Ulta all the time and it's always 5 star to me.

Glad we have one in meridian but 7 out of 10 times the service sucks. Only a hand full of times has anyone actually took the initiative to help me & actually know about products or try to find out. Ill give A for effort when its effort is given.

I’ve been to many Ulta stores at other locations and this store in Meridian is the most un-organized store I’ve been in. I made a hair appt several months ago and after driving 30-40 mins to get there, they didn’t have anyone in the salon, so I wrote it off as a human error on their computer that handles scheduling but have continued to buy products from this store for myself, my daughter and son’s girlfriend. I decided to try the salon again and made a hair appt again. Because I remembered my last experience, I thought I’d call before driving over to Ulta. The appt was confirmed on the phone so I left to drive over. My appt was at 5:00 and I arrived at 4:45. There was a hairdresser there and I gave her my info. She said she is the only hairdresser still in and she doesn’t see me on the books and already has a 5:00 appt booked that is probably going to take the rest of her shift. ( My blood pressure starts to rise.). She said let me go speak to a manager, so I wait and wait. I decided to walk up front and the girl that said she is going to speak with a manager is up there but clearly not concerned. So I see another lady come thru working in the salon so I go and ask her. She looks it up in the computer and says there is nothing on the books but that said the first girl gave me incorrect info and that they have 2 Kaitlyn’s and the other is in the back. So I go to the front to explain and find a manager who is clueless! This store has employees that work harder to get out of work than I have ever seen in my life. I’ll be going back to my regular place, won’t be buying products here any longer. This place is managed like. Goat Rodeo!

Not only is their checkout process invasive and ridiculous, the values Ulta *attempts* to force on people who *choose* to shop there no longer align with mine. I’ll spend my money elsewhere.

I have two separate incidences that have given me a pretty bad taste about this store.The first incident was a few weeks ago when I went to exchange an item on a Tuesday morning. I arrived at 9:45 AM and when I went to the door I saw that the sign said the store didn’t open until 10. I went back to my car and waited in the parking lot until 10:05 (because I didn’t wanna try to go in right at opening time). I went back to the door, which was locked. An employee came to the door and told me that they weren’t going to be open until 12 that day due to inventory. I said “oh did I miss a sign?” And looked around to make sure I hadn’t. She was rude and unapologetic and said “yeah we open at 12” and just left.The second thing that happened was last Friday 2/11. I came in with my friend and we spent about 2 hours shopping together and looking. My friend had a basket full of items she intended to purchase and I had put most of my items in her basket so I wasn’t carrying but maybe one thing around. We did nothing suspicious and, again, spent ample time in the store talking and shopping. When we got to the hair product section a sales associate approached us and started hovering really closely while my friend and I debated on what shampoo she should buy. She followed us around, staying only 2-4 feet away from either one of us at any given time and commenting on every single item we looked at. This went on for what felt like 10-15 minutes until finally my friend and I had had enough and decided to check out. When we got into the checkout line, another associate (Julie Rawson who I know because I used to go to church with her) came up and walked by my friend and I in the line. As she passed, she acted very strangely and was trying to see inside my purse. My friend checked out first and purchased over $500 worth of merchandise. She jokingly asked the cashier if they had any coupons laying around and the cashier was very cold and rudely replied “no, but you can apply for a credit card.” When my friend finished checking out she stood just past the checkout area and waited on me. While she was waiting, Julie and the other sales associate that has followed us around, were a few feet away having what appeared to be a very intense conversation and they were looking at us. My friend informed me that she overheard one of them say “she has it, it’s in the bag, I saw it.” I don’t know what she thinks she saw, but I have never stolen a thing in my life and neither has my friend. Not to mention, who would come in and spend 2 hours shopping and buy over $500 worth of stuff if they were shoplifting? I was so excited to get an Ulta in Meridian, but so far I have had two pretty significant negative experiences with our store. Hopefully they get some better management and learn good customer service or I will not be returning to this store.

Had a HORRIBLE experience today! Had an appointment to get my hair done today & the person I originally had it with called into work so the manager told me not to worry that they had “two of their top stylist there that could help me” so I sat down told the girl what I wanted & she did the exact OPPOSITE!!! I asked her for chunky blond high lights & now my hair is green, orange, red & yellow!!!!! ?? she told me that she was just gonna color it with all brown but my scalp is burnt from the bleach she put on so when she put the brown color on it started burning my scalp so bad I had to make her wash it out!!! I’m just devastated!!!! Now what was just gonna cost me $75 dollars is now gonna cost me $350-375 to fix it!!!

Went and got my hair done beautiful color but when I got home and started looking at the cut it was all messed up, shorter than what I asked and I have to keep my hair pulled back it’s so bad.

I am so glad we finally have an Ulta here in Meridian! Mandy Murphey is always so helpful and knowledgeable about the products. She brings a much needed element of classy, cool style to the store. I trust her recommendations immensely!
