Woof Gang Pet Resort & Spa
8815 Pine Springs Rd, MeridianI just picked up my fur baby, after her very 1st stay away from me. My girl is a super active Treeing Walker Coonhound, and she is a bit of an escape artist to boot. While I'm very certain my 'Angel' was anything but an Angel, the folks at Woof Gang Pet Resort & Spa took excellent care of her. The facility was cool & clean, and clearly safety was a top priority. 1000 thanks, and I look forward to our next visit.

Pet Care
Till-Newell Animal Hospital
5140 Dale Drive, MarionIf I could give this location 10 stars, I would. My husband and I began bringing our dog to Dr. Newell's office after having a bad experience with our local vet's office. I learned very quickly after the first visit that I should have done this sooner. Dr. Newell and the staff there are very professional and thorough with the care of our dog. I had to call the after hours emergency line one evening a couple of weeks ago. Our dog was stung by yellowjackets and I was concerned about what to look for. I got a call from Dr. Newell within five minutes. He answered every question I had and recommended at home treatment. Very happy to say that our dog is much better.
I will make the one hour drive to Dr. Newell's office rather than the one block drive to our local vet's office from here on out.

Poplar Springs Animal Hospital
4915 Poplar Springs Dr, MeridianPET APPROVED!
Poplar Springs may have a higher price point than other vets, but I am telling you all now it is worth it - you and your pets are worth it.
Dr. Carney (or "Chip") is the most down to earth vet I've ever had the privilege of taking my animals too. He's informational, honest, direct, and calm. He has a very nonchalant kind of attitude to him that I absolutely adore (maybe that's just the military grump in me though) and it makes it that much easier to talk to him.
Most importantly though, he is available when our family needs him. We've had emergencies and situations where we were unsure if it required immediate action, and we were able to get in touch with him regardless if it was late at night or a weekend.
Also, the office staff and the vet techs/assistants are so polite and kind and knowledgeable. You really feel so welcomed, like family! Bonus, my dog's love everyone there too.
Bit of a back story (as if this review isn't long enough!) I came to Poplar Springs after having a deadly experience with another vet (who I will not name.) Our previous vet gave my dog medication of which I had made it clear my dog was allergic to, Ivermectin. I didn't realize she had done this until I checked the paperwork later after noticing medical issues with my dog. My dog's health quickly declined, seizures, drooling, disorientation, just awful things. I brought my dog back to that vet every day for three weeks demanding help; I explained she was suffering from Ivermectin toxicity and the disorientation and seizures were making her aggressive (to which she had NEVER been before!) The vet said it wasn't a health issue, it was a behavior issue, and she recommended I put her down because you "can't train that out of her." I was in tears every day trying to get help from this vet, even a referral from her to a specialist. She told me "the cost wouldn't be worth it." I was speechless. Eventually my dog's attacks got so severe she had to be euthanized. I wanted to sue for malpractice but I didn't have the energy. ... All that to say, that previous vets lack of knowledge or care killed my dog. When I found Poplar Springs and brought our other dog in for a first time visit, the front reception asked me if I was interested in flea/heartworm prevention. I made the comment "as long as it's not ivermectin" kind of passively (still upset about my other dog.) The receptionist looked at the sign I was holding and said, "fortunately we would never give that cutie ivermectin, his breed is one that's allergic to it, we've got lots of other options though!" I started crying right there, tears of relief and regret that I hadn't found Poplar Springs Vet sooner. I knew immediately my family was going to be in good hands.

Threefoot Brewing
517 23rd Ave, MeridianEvery experience we’ve had at this brewery has been nothing short of phenomenal. Every waitress and waiter has been kind, has had the best energy, and given wonderful service. We have three children and they are so kid and dog friendly with their outdoor patio space. We come a few weekends a year for work and will never fail to come here. And, of course, the beer is freaking GOOD. Can’t give enough stars for this place and how much our whole family loves it!
