Wish I could give zero stars, literally had the worst experience today. The new store manager is too childish for me. I was trying to give them business because I used them before (6 years ago) when she was an account manager and I loved the experience. But now, I would never do business with her again due to her LACK of professionalism. And I seriously hope she gets that big cold sore on her lip checked. It looks gross.

These people are great! I can’t say enough good things about them. I’m not easy to do buissness with and they bend over backwards to work with me. I had part of my payment one day but I didn’t have a way to get up there to pay them and a guy came all the way to liberty and got the money and it was just a partial payment. They could have taken the dryer at that point if they wanted to but they do whatever it takes to work with you. Their competitor rent a center will come take the appliance if you miss one payment. I know from experience because that’s what happened with my last dryer. Affordables employees are super nice and always polite. It’s just a pleasure doing buissness with them.

The first time I dealt with Affordable was back in 2018 when I got a refrigerator and washing machine. I had no issues with anything. Back in 2019 when I was out of work due to medical reasons, I contacted the store manager Barry and informed him of what was going on. Instead of my usual monthly payment, he allowed me to pay less. I have paid off both washer and refrigerator, and just about paid off stove. Would I recommend Affordable Home Furnishings? Yes I would. Their total cost of payments overall are well below what you find at other rental stores. Everytime I call to make a payment, it is such a wonderful experience. Never had any problems. It's that kind of pleasant attitude that makes a business great. I appreciate all that they have done for me.

Do not trust them with the online ordering system. I applied online for a laptop and the site has you fill out an application and list references and even charges your card when you submit the application and States that the merchandise will be delivered to you after someone from the store calls to schedule delivery. Yet, they will still expect you to come in and fill out a paper application with income proof and identification after they have already charged your card for the online order. Why have an online order system to charge for merchandise if you have to go in store to actually purchase it. They are charging customers for items that they haven't even sold them yet.
