The pharmacy team is absolutely amazing, especially Amber. Not only did they fill two prescriptions that I couldn’t find anywhere else in the surrounding area, but they found me an even better price for them than GoodRx offered. I was so shocked that they would go out of their way like that! It’s a drive to get here but I will definitely be coming back and filling my prescriptions here in the future. The store was also very clean and calm!

Walked in to get my 90 year old grandparents medicine like I do every week and the pharamacy was open. I asked for my prescription and they told me they were closing and I let them know I needed my grandparents medicine or I wouldn’t be able to get it for ANOTHER week and they just rolled their eyes and shut the gate on me. THIS PHARMACY SUCKS RUDE RUDE RUDE. GRANDPARENTS ARE WITHOUT MEDICINE! Read the reviews on this place and DO NOT GO HERE

Worst pharmacy with the rudest pharmacist I have ever encountered. Yelling at her techs and the customers. I had a apt for vaccine she basically refused to administer she was to overwhelmed . The staff was very nice and was trying to make up for the overwhelmed pharmacist . They are short staffed !!! Get them more help -- I know it's difficult I am a RN pay for more pharmacist to assist the public!!

Prescription was called in at 230 pm. Arrived at 415 pm. Prescription has not even been looked at. Been waiting 15 minutes. For one antibiotic.

This is the second time I will be filing a complaint for this CVS regarding their customer service. The lady in front of me tonight was having issues receiving her change back from the self check out machine. It took the CVS worker a while to come around and finally fix the issue which required her to take out about $700 cash out of the machine(all in increments of $1s, $5s, $10s, and $20s). Instead of going behind the counter to check me out and opening a lane up until the issue was resolved (mind you, this was around 8:00 so no one else was in the store ) she proceeded to make me wait until she inserted all $700 cash back into the machine. This was a 20 minute process which required her to insert each bill individually back into the cash receptor, one by one. This was not a quick and seamless process as a lot of the bills kept getting spit back out, prompting her to reinsert the bill multiple times. I asked her nicely if I would have to wait for her to insert all $700 back into the machine one by one, and she snapped back “Well if you want your change back then you’re gonna have to wait”, i again nicely explained that I would be paying with a card which would not require me to receive any change back. Long story short, instead of just checking me out at the counter (as trained to do) prior to inserting all $700 worth of bills individually back into the cash intake receptor. Unfortunately, relying on the self checkout machines and the customer to do all of the work is common practice at this CVS. Even when the self checkout line is wrapped around the floor, the employees could not be bothered to open up a lane at the counter and check customers out manually. In fact, manual labor and providing sufficient customer service seems to be a difficult skill for the CVS team in Madison to grasp. I have already brought this to management’s attention and it seems that management has done nothing to step in for their failing store so I will be escalating this to a higher level for review of the store, the management, and their employees. I formerly supervised an entire legal department so I can clearly identify when things are not running the way they are supposed to and sadly management is failing this location. Side note, the women’s restroom has been out of order for well over a month now and the female pharmacist’s have complained to me that they have to use other store’s restrooms because even the men’s restroom is “too nasty” to use. This is also my second time, escalating a complaint to the CVS Madison management so I will definitely be taking this to a higher level to see that it gets attended to as their are many other one star reviews of this location to back up my claim that the customer service here is far from satisfactory.

Prescriptions that are called into this location are never processed in a timely manner. The website will say “in-process” but until you call, the pharmacy staff will not even look at your prescription. This is a major issue with medications where their efficacy is time sensitive. Such as COVID and flu antiviral medications that must be started within a specific number of days from symptom onset.

Wish I was able to leave a negative star- Just moved to town and have only been 3 times and every time was an utter nightmare. I’ve had prescriptions filled for years and have NEVER had as much trouble as I have the 3 total times I used this pharmacy. The staff are very friendly which is the only plus, “nice” unfortunately doesn’t get prescriptions filled in a timely manner, notify you when a prescription is out of stock or not being filled at all, give you the correct medication, or have the overall competence to understand and actually hear/listen to what medications you’re needing. This review is long and negative but I couldn’t not “leave a review” for the horrible experience I had just the 3 times I went to pick up medications I’ve been on for years. I would absolutely not recommend this pharmacy, your time and money would be valued much more elsewhere.

Do NOT go here for a covid test. Or anything really. Their site says “rapid”. Well after 6 calls, we were finally informed (on the 4th or 5th call) that our tests were apparently sent to the wrong location. We were then informed that my husband’s birthday could not be entered correctly (for some reason the year 2000 wasn’t even an option??) so they could not send us the test results. Never called us to tell us this. Long story short, over 24 hours later, waiting in their drive through line for over an hour so they could take a picture of our results (we had to have for work and apparently they can’t email their results…), and dealing with some VERY rude people, we finally have our results/pictures. Couldn’t be anymore disappointed in our service.But, we did have a wonderful experience at the donut place in the little shopping center next door. They run a better business than CVS x10000. 10/10 recommend the little donut shop.

Stood in the pharmacy line for 20 plus minutes and no one got helped. 1 person working and she was lost. This CVS is by far the worst in Madison. And their employees are the rudest I’ve encountered. Believe the reviews. Avoid.
