“I found A J's by chance one day while I was just out exploring the area. I stopped in to check out what they had and ended up purchasing one of the best Deli ham and cheese sandwhiches that I've had in 40 years. I've been telling my friends since then that it reminded me of when I was a kid and my Dad would take me in these general stores that served great old fasioned grill food right off the flat-top The people were also super friendly and made me feel welcome and I enjoyed the entire experience.I'm going back this morning and haven't decided yet whether I'm going for breakfast or another Deli sandwhich!”
“Not the cheapest gas station in town but it is good quality gas and never had any water in fuel issues in the gas from here. Also the hangout for local law enforcement so it's always a safe place after dark to fill up.”
“I t is nice to have a place to get gas in Lucedale, MS that was open at almost 12 a.m. And the gas was $2.03 a gallon. I would have paid .35 cents more at one of the truck stops. Friendly cashier and well lit.”

“I stopped in while traveling to use the restroom and grab snacks, I was very hesitant about using the restroom until I walked in and found it so clean! The cashier was cleaning the front of store when I walked in, store smelled good. My Dad and Mom said it’s always clean and that’s why they wait to stop to this location. Keep up the good work!”
“Stopped here early Sunday morning. Coffee was fresh, and plenty of hot breakfast sandwiches were ready. Also picked up some locally made BBQ sauces and jams. Patricia is a sweetheart.”

“clean restrooms. friendly staff with a great sense of humor, professionalism and efficiency. There is a small deli that has take out pizza and MAYBE a few other items like fried taquita/burito type items.... its gas station food NOT truck stop diner/deli food. But it is a good place to walk your pet or stretch your own legs with a big grassy area. Although some of them are a tad overpriced, there is a great selection of souvenirs, books, and lotto scratchoff tickets”
“I fill up here all the time, often coming in for snacks and/or my partner's beer. Great people who do their best to keep it cleaned and well stocked. Watch out for out-of-staters who think the world is their personal parking lot.”

“Great place to park your semi for a 10-hour.. They (the locals) say the food is good butt, I am not used to Southern mystery gravy apparently.. I guess it tastes good if you're used to it? Nonetheless, nice people..”
