I will start off by saying that the receptionist and who I believe is the manager, Mark, are very friendly, and that’s the reason I’m giving 3 stars.
I’ve brought my car here twice now. The first time we went, I explained that we were getting ready to go on a long trip, and I wanted to make sure everything looked good before we left. I also told them I needed an alignment, an oil change, and my windshield wiper pump wasn’t working. They looked busy, but I dropped it off early in the morning thinking it would be plenty of time to get everything done (and I even told them if they needed to keep it into the next day, that that would be fine also, as I just wanted to make sure everything looked good before the trip). I got a call same day to come pick it up and I got told that they did everything except the windshield wiper pump “because there was not enough time to look at it”. It was kind of annoying, but it was something small, so I didn’t mind.
Fast forward to after the trip. We did a lot of driving on rough terrain and my steering wheel was squeaking while making turns when we got back home. I called beforehand and reported what was going on and told them that I wanted my ball joints and everything else that was involved with my steering system lubed up (I made sure to say this specific thing several times during this entire process to make sure it was emphasized and understood). The next day comes and goes with no phone call/update, so I called them before closing at the end of the day. They stated that they haven’t had time to look at it yet, and it would be the following day before they took it back. Okay, no worries. Once again, annoying…but as long as it’s thoroughly inspected once it is brought back and everything that I requested be done to it is done, I’m fine waiting an extra day. So, another day goes by with no phone call and at this point I’ve reached out 2-3 times for updates and just keep getting told that it hasn’t been brought back yet due to them dealing with a Cadillac having major issues.
They had my car from Monday around 12pm to Thursday around 3 when I finally got a phone call saying it was ready. They proceeded to tell me that all they could do for me was an alignment, and that the steering wheel issue “would have to get worse before anything can be done about it. At which point would cost roughly several hundred dollars starting off to get fixed” I’m an extremely understanding and non-confrontational person, so I’m not one to make a scene or nit-pick, but keeping a car for almost 4 days and still charging almost $120 just for an alignment is kinda crazy, and now I have to go through the trouble of finding somewhere else to bring my car to get the steering wheel issue checked out and hopefully get the joints lubed up like I'd originally requested that they do, which will result in more money being spent and more time without my car.
It really feels like this shop is so busy that there is no time to make sure that the “little things” get thoroughly checked out. Yet, they keep taking in more and more cars at a time. Had someone told me when I first called “hey we’re severely under-staffed and very full at the moment, so you may want to try giving us a call in a few days" I would have fine with that. But instead, they led me to believe that I would have my car the next day (which ended up taking almost 4 days and once I got my car back, the work felt rushed and incomplete.)
If you're having major issues, this might be a good place to bring your vehicle, but if you're needing some minor work done or preventative care, I'd probably look elsewhere.

Unfortunately I developed a break problem (stuck caliper) 2 1/2 hours away from home. Fortunately, I found this place. I pulled up to a jam packed business on a Friday thinking there was no way they could fit me in that day. One of their technicians gladly said that he would work through lunch for me knowing my situation. Everyone there from the owner, to the ladies behind the counter, to the technician took me in like I was family and I am so grateful for that. They had me back on the road in an hour and a half at a more than reasonable price. Thanks again Smith for going above and beyond for me. On a scale of 1-10 I give them an eleven!

My RAM Rebel needed new shoesS. Shopped all over the area and based on their reviews, chose Smith Goodyear. From my initial visit, until the work was completed, I was completely informed and satisfied, especially with their recommendation. My truck has never rode so good and been so quiet. Been using Smith Goodyear for a decade. Superb service. Mark takes the time to personally talk to every customer and make sure the work is done right. Very good mechanics can handle all work. Great after sales service on tires.
