I've brought two vehicles here recently (van & truck), both for different air conditioning problems. One just had restricted air flow, and the other needed a new condenser. I was so impressed by their service that I've scheduled routine maintenance on both and the brake repair.
You will need an appointment because these folks do stay busy.. for good reason.
The owner (Mr. Gray) and his staff are professional, helpful, and *honest*. There's no indication or feeling of them 'selling' unnecessary repairs.
When working on my van, they found that my brakes needed minor work (not a surprise since I've never had any brake work done on that 20 year old vehicle). They simply listed their findings on my bill - they didn't call trying to sell me hundreds of dollars of extra work.
I also need a new windshield and asked the owner if he could recommend someone. He gave us the name of the company they use, but he said the work can be done on site by that company, if we wanted, while the vehicle is there for the brake job - and Kohl's makes all the arrangements. Getting both repairs taken care of at once at the same place is very convenient.
Apparently, Kohl's has a great reputation & has been in business a long time, but I've just discovered them.
Kohl's is definitely my new go-to for vehicle repairs and maintenance.

My husband went in person to question if his warranty from a major dealership would be honored. the front desk woman(very nice indeed) went to ask the boss. He told her that only the part would be covered and the owner would be responsible for labor. My husband agreed and dropped his car off first thing Monday am. They checked to see was needed ordered the part and when he went to picket uphill car today he was billed double what he agreed on. He spoke with the owner who said "I Never said we would honor any any parts under warranty." Seems very dishonest?

My parents and family friends have been going to this shop for years so when I got my car and it was time to get new brakes I want there. I asked them to do all the brakes. my car was in the shop for two days and that after waiting for a week to get in. never called for updates or anything I had to call both days. After two weeks I have to go to another shop because it was making noises and they said it was Metal to metal and no brakes.

I don't usually let other work on my vehicles but the one time I did, this place came highly recommended and I seen why. Very friendly, knowledgeable and trust worthy. Even took me home and picked me up while they repaired my truck.

They did what Lexus of New Orleans & Mobile couldn't... put a transmission cooler on my 2019 GX 460. Not only that, but they did it for half the price I was charged to do the same thing to my wife's Toyota at the dealership. Most importantly, the work was done correctly and promptly. I knew they would take good care of my vehicle when I saw how clean the garage is.I highly recommend them, they are one of the best shops I've taken any of my cars to in all my travels over the last 20 years.

We feel lucky to have a mechanic shop like Kohls local. They have fixed a few of our vehicles and are very reasonably priced. The lady at the front desk has always treated us with a smile and positive attitude. Would definitely recommend them for auto repair.

I called after several hours to see if they were almost done, they asked me why I wanted a tune up.... said they'd call me back after looking at it and never did.... $350 for a routine tune up.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Went in for an oil change & ended up paying about $260. I was asked if there were any other issues I was having with my car, to which I described some other potential issues I was having and wanted checked out.
I was never called to discuss any issues they found or to give any OK on additional services….
I believe what they did has helped & the mechanics seem to know what they’re doing but I’ve never had that happen when getting my car serviced.
So as a word or advice to new customers like myself, be very clear on what you’re allowing & if you’re on a budget, set the boundaries.

Pat and his team are wonderful. They recently fixed a couple of problems on my 2016 Mini Cooper. Work was completed on time, very reasonable, and I definitely recommend them. I am so glad to find someone local who knows what they're doing. If I have any problems with Mini in the future, I will return to Kohl's.

Kohl's is great. They don't work cheap but I only bring them the hard stuff. I do routine repairs myself. When I and youtube are completely stumped, I call Kohl's. I also have little British cars. They are one of few locally that work on em. Always see a Jag, MG, Miata, BMW, Alpha Romeo, etc. there.
