People are always rude here. I came to them one time for a food box and the woman at the desk wanted my whole life history and got an attitude because I told her I did have a job and I was trying to get back on foodstamps. She got attitude saying well this is for people that actually need help that i needed to hurry up and get my food stamps... I have a little one and was going through a hard time so I was making sure my family had food if I didn't need help I would not have been there. And there are so many problems just trying to even get on food stamps now a days so if they can do it faster then by all means you fight with them I caint find a paper they need from what seems to be 20 years ago when they are only supposed to go back 3 months.

It seems that in recent years the Salvation Army has gotten greedy. I have been shopping in Salvation Army Thrift Stores since the 80's and it used to be that you would always find real bargains there, but the prices these days, here locally at both the Laurel & Hattiesburg locations, have gotten to the point that it feels more like you are shopping at one of the modern day high end flea markets/antique shops. I make the rounds thru the local thrift stores weekly, but the Salvation Army's stores are so expensive thay I only stop in at them when I have time to kill, because I don't expect to find any bargains.

Prices are expensive. I thought SA was here to help people be able to buy clothes and things they need. I can buy new at Roses or Walmart for about the same price??♀️

I normally find things here sometimes they are to expensive for a place that people donate things to sell. They need to realize that people come here because most people can't afford to shop other places. Please lower your prices .

small selection but the staff is friendly. Pricing is different than the other Salvation Army Thrift Stores which is likely due to the size of the store. A little higher prices but overall a good place to visit.
