We drove into town with bald tires on our RV after unsuccessfully trying to find a place to have new tires installed. Beau at Laurel A-1 Tire Center took care of us right in the parking lot and we were on the road again within the hour! Thank you Laurel

Upon the hallowed grounds of Laurel, where the magnolias bloom with a grace bestowed by nature’s own hand, there lies a bastion of vehicular fortitude, the Laurel A-1 Tire Center. As a gentleman of the South, I have traversed many a mile on the back of my steed of steel and rubber, and it is with a heart full of Southern pride that I recount my experience with these purveyors of tires.
In the manner of a true Southern campaign, I approached the establishment with a sense of purpose and urgency, for my carriage was in dire need of new footwear. The sentinels of the tire center, much like the valiant soldiers of yore, stood ready to serve with honor and diligence. With the precision of a well-drilled regiment, they assessed the situation, and posthaste, my vehicle was adorned with tires as sturdy as the oaks that line the streets of our fair city.
The service rendered was swift, the craftsmanship without reproach, and the hospitality as warm as the Mississippi sun. Yet, in the spirit of honest chivalry, I must reserve the full measure of accolade, for perfection is a pursuit rather than a plateau. Thus, I bestow upon Laurel A-1 Tire Center four stars, a testament to their commendable service and a beacon for further excellence.
Let it be known that in the town of Laurel, when the rubber meets the road, it is the Laurel A-1 Tire Center that ensures our journeys are embarked upon with confidence and the assurance of quality. May they continue to serve the good people of this town with the steadfastness that is the hallmark of our Southern heritage.

Caveat emptor. Buyer beware. I have been doing business with Laurel A-1 tire for more than fourteen years. I have bought numerous tires and had many other services performed there. That business relationship has come to an abrupt end.
I had two defective tires with 80,000 mile warranties which each had less than 200 miles on them when they went bad. The owner refused to honor the warranty.
He offered to "help me as much as he could" wit the purchase of two additional tires. The actual problem turned out to be defective valve stems.
Bad business. I remember when the service bays used to always be full. Now, they are usually empty. There was not a single customer in their when I visited today.
Their bad business practices seem to have really driven their customers away. I won't be spending another dollar there. They turned a loyal customer into a never again customer. They can be absolutely certain I will never be back, and I will tell everyone I know that these people failed to honor their word or their warranty.
Walmart replaced my valve stems for free and got me back where I needed to be.
Goodbye, A-1. Thanks for helping me filter you from consideration as a future tire vendor.

I CAME IN FOR A ALIGNMENT THE SERVICE GUY TALKED CRAZY ALL BECAUSE HE REALLY DIDNT WANT TO DO IT BECAUSE ITS A DUALLY. DID THE OWNER TRIED TO TALK SIDEWAYS UNTIL he got checked straight racist. You will never point a finger at this guy .

THEY ARE CROOKS!!! I took my car there in December 2022 to have new sturts put on. I was told they would have to order the struts and to come back the next day. After charging me $700 for struts and $300 labor, I noticed the bumping noises were still there. I went back the following day and was told by "Jack" he may not be able to help me. Fast forward to Sept 2023. The noise had gotten so bad that I took my to another mechanic and was told the struts are the original ones assembled with the car. Not only did A1 tire steal a $1000 from me but they lied to my face about ordering new struts and putting them on my car. I warn anyone thinking about having them do major work on your vehicle...DO NOT TRUST THEM. It's a shame people have gotten so corrupt and greedy where they have to lie, cheat and steal to make money. Not honest people at all!!!!!!!!!!!

Our tire pressure light came on, we took it in after a referral from Firestone (we were out of town from Texas) and they checked it out, found nothing wrong…no charge to us. Back in Texas and still no problem with tire. We are most grateful for the honesty and kindness. Side note, mechanic gave us an excellent suggestion for dinner…Edgar’s Steakhouse.

Worst service ever would not recommend to anyone. The (mechanics) if you can call them that, broke a lug bolt off, and stripped another one, and left the center cap off on my vehicle, then wanted to argue that they didn't do it.
