In helping my friend move, she had Harper to move from one apparent to another just steps away. Charged her 400.00 fir 4 hrs. She was ok with that. Their were 3 to 4 guys working. Nice guys at that. She bought them all lunch . When it was time to pay she gave the owner 200.00 and told hem to give each guy 50.00 each. As a tip. Guess what ? He never told them about it. When one found out about it he Claes he didn't know what she was talking about. Talk about crooked and taking advantage of an elderly lady. That wad so wrong and he needs to give her her 200.00 back. .. sorry sorry sorry !!

They did a good job of moving. However we had 5 large items to move 2 miles away and it cost $520. They took their sweet time and only started to move quickly when it was time to get to the next job. Happy with the move but the time for the small amount of items with 3 men is unacceptable.

This company moved us in March to their storage facility. Our furnishing were stored for almost 6 months. We had over a 100 packed boxes and all our furniture that couldn’t be put in a box was picked up by them and carefully stored . When it was time for furniture to be delivered to our new home they brought everything we had and it was just like the day they picked it up a little dusty but that was understandable since it had been stored for so long. We had valuables and precious items that they cared for and they were all respectably brought back to us. I found this company to be very professional and they truly did a good job! I would use them again if need be but hopefully we want.

BEWARE: The cheapest, most rundown, unprofessional moving company the Military could find in Mississippi!!!! Arrived unprepared (wrong size boxes, not enough packing paper) in an old oil leaking truck, left trash in every room of the house & yard daily, crew was sketchy and had to be watched like a hawk, poor wrapping, especially for an overseas move, and improper markings on the crates (per military regulations). Vice President Patrick Anderson smoked in our garage (in a non-smoking residence), went into our refrigerator without permission (though snacks and water was provided daily on the counter), placed his plastic drink cup on top our our furniture & fireplace leaving water rings. VP was the most unprofessional sloppy person we had to deal with within the company! His inventory paperwork was filled with nothing but exaggerating lies about the condition of our belongings. When approached about paperwork, he argued with me in front of my children, refused to listen, or explain, was extremely disrespectful and degrading to me, to the point I kicked him out of my house! We finally got the military involved, in which they sent out representatives to investigate. We had no choice but to allow this moving company to move us, but at the very least, we would like to prevent any other military families to have to endure such unnecessary drama and stress in an already extremely stressful time! Highly discourage using this company!!!!!!!!!!

This company was hired through the government to pack, move and store my furniture during my time spent overseas. I have had more than seven moves and all have been great, professional, with pride and most of all there was no damage left behind. But however, Harper Transfer and Storage has to be hands down the worst company that I have been assigned to work for me. This is a company that lacks integrity, no professionalism, damaged over 80% of my furniture and lacks customer service skills.

Warning!! This company employs thieves! Stay away!! My parents used this company to move them across town earlier this month. They scratched their headboard badly, knocked a hole in the wall of the house they were moving out of, and to top it all off, stole about $1000 in coins from them. Charges have been filed with the police, but anyone considering using this company should steer clear.
