I just pumped diesel, went inside to use the restroom and the lady says "it's for employees only". Had I known that, I would've purchases diesel at another station. I will not come back.

Embarking on a journey to the local Exxon is like stepping into a world where the ordinary becomes extraordinary. The vibrant hues of the candy aisle shimmer with a peculiar intensity, and the air is thick with the scent of adventure—and gasoline.
As I traverse the linoleum landscape, the cool hum of refrigerators becomes a symphony, each beverage a bottled symphony of refreshment. The attendants, guardians of this oasis, move with an otherworldly grace, their smiles both welcoming and enigmatic.
The fuel pumps stand like monoliths outside, their numbers ticking upwards with a rhythm that feels like the heartbeat of the earth itself. The nozzle fits into my car's tank with a satisfying click, a union of machine and energy source that feels almost ceremonial.
In this place, the mundane act of refueling becomes a moment of connection—a brief dance with the mechanical muses that power our journeys. And as I drive away, the essence of Exxon lingers, a reminder that even the most routine errands can be touched with a hint of the sublime.
Four stars for Exxon, where every visit is a small odyssey, a slice of the everyday that hints at something more. ?
