Well folks, let me tell ya, my recent visit to Belk was a bit of a mixed bag. Now, I appreciate a good department store as much as the next Texan, but this one had its ups and downs.
First off, the staff were friendly and eager to help, which is always a plus in my book. They greeted me with a smile and were quick to assist when I needed it. However, the store layout was a bit confusing, and I found myself wandering around like a tumbleweed in the desert.
The selection of products was decent, but not quite what I was hoping for. I was lookin' for a good pair of cowboy boots, but the options were limited. On the bright side, they did have a nice variety of clothing and home goods, so I didn't leave empty-handed.
Prices were fair, but I reckon they could be a bit more competitive. In these tough economic times, every dollar counts, and I was hopin' for a few more bargains.
All in all, Belk gets a solid 3 stars from me. It's a good place to shop, but there's room for improvement. Keep workin' on it, y'all, and you'll get there.

I like the folks that work there, but sometimes it is hard to find a cashier or the lines are long.

I couldn't find what I wanted in my size. Belk associate found my size and it was shipped to my home.

I purchased a shirt 2/15 and went to take it back on 2/23 because the sleeves were too short for my husband. Took shirt and receipt into the store and was told that I could only get a Belk gift card or they would refund it back to the original card that is no longer available because it has been lost/misplaced. I don't need the shirt now and if this is the only solution you have for your customers then that's definitely not good customer service. The cashier was very polite and called the manager so I could speak with her. Very disappointed with the attitude body language of the manager on duty...... She had no intentions on resolving my issue.... Great customer service is everything and I definitely did NOT receive that!Thank You

This Belk store is over the hill. It offers many clothes for kids, but not for men.The soap at the restrooms was empty and no hand sanitizers available. I found a bug in the store.

My 13 year old says the jeans,tops, and lounge wear are very cool. They have wonderful sales.
