Beautiful! Clean! Right next to the expressway. Great breakfast. My only issue (however small) was that they didn’t have any linen in the room for the pull out sofa. Instead of going to the front desk to get it, we ended up just using the linen from the 2nd

I had no service the entire time. I asked the front desk person about Wi-Fi, and she had no clue. Technical support wasn’t help. Along with that, the walls are extremely thin. I would suggest staying on the highest floor, because you will definitely hear above you if not. Odd for a hotel. Anyway, rooms were clean. That was he only plus.

I wasn’t able to stay At this hotel due to change of plans, but Heather, the assistant manager at this location, was extremely helpful. We made a mistake with our booking and she was more than helpful with our issue. She is the reason we are the hospitality state! Glad we still have compassionate and caring leaders in the service industry.

I've been here 2 months, and I waited to write this review so it would be an honest representation of my stay. I wanted to make sure whatever I said would be consistent with the service I received and not an on and off type of thing.I love it. This is truly a home away from home. The staff is AMAZING! Front desk, housekeeping, even maintenance! They have rolled quarters for guest laundry and have no problem trading cash for them. There's mini golf, so make sure you bring your clubs! A large dog park in the back, so pets are very welcomed here. There's hot breakfast served every morning as well. Close to restaurants and minutes from downtown and hospitals. You can even get groceries delivered straight to your room door! Need to order from Amazon during your stay? You can have it delivered to the front desk as well! You are literally close to everything! It's also right off I-55 so you can jump on and off the highway in a breeze to get to and from your destination. Banking and restaurants are basically in the same parking lot. There's a free parking garage to keep your car a little cooler during these hot summer temps, or you can park in the hotel parking lot for a shorter walk. There's handicap parking and rooms. There are also rooms for the hearing impaired. There are beautiful evening views on the west side of the building!Rooms: Handicap and hearing impaired rooms available.Nearby activities: Downtown is minutes away. Restaurants in the same parking lot.Safety: Security on site in the parking lot.Walkability: 3 minute walk to Sal and Mookies and Bankplus!Food & drinks: There's about 2 maybe 3 good restaurants with bars in walking distance.Noteworthy details: Beautifully landscaped with beautiful west side evening views. There's also a water garden in walking distance with seating to help you relax even more!

This is a nice Residence Inn, we were able to use Suite Night Awards to get an upgrade and the room was standard Residence Inn setup other than floor to ceiling windows which my dog loved because he could see out. I'll still take the Westin any day, but this property is a nice option in Jackson especially if you're traveling with a dog. The staff are friendly and the breakfast was maybe a bit above average for these days, I definitely expect to stay here again.

Truck was stolen in broad daylight within 1/2 hour of arrival. No cameras. Vehicle break ins and car theft are a big problem here I learned. Having cameras all around the parking lot then helping the police have access to the video would be a good start. I never heard back from Jackson PD or the hotel manager about this. You definitely don’t want to risk parking here in a ford f150. It will likely be stolen. Go somewhere else until they start taking security more seriously.Safety: Having car stolen made me feel unsafe.

The room was comfortable, the location was nice but the front office staff was INHOSPITABLE. It seemed like they were bothered whenever you had a request or a question. My husband is a veteran that has a service animal and we were questioned about the dog during check in. We had to explain ourselves and offer to show paperwork to avoid any pet fees. The dog was wearing her service vest. Definitely didn’t appreciate them making us feel like we were lying. Our family has been traveling across the US for the past 7 days and out of all 7 hotels we’ve stayed in this was the only one that questioned the service dog.I would suggest the front office staff to be more compassionate, welcoming, and to focus on making your guest feel well taken care of.Noteworthy details: inhospitable

Customer service is poor. Housekeeping ignores you. The lady in the breakfast room makes you feel like a nuisance. You should probably bring your own towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, and bed sheets. Also don’t eat breakfast there unless you want to be treated like a toddler or an annoyance.

There's not too many nice places to stay in Jackson but I thought they would have done better with a location so close to the hospital and university. The staff I will say are great and try to help with what they can.The first room I checked into was so hot and filthy, I had to request a room change. Not sure why I was given a handy accessible room with a broken faucet, dirty floors and dirty walls. I know it's been hot lately (78F) but the AC units don't seem to keep up in this building at all. The temps in the rooms barely budge lower and sometimes even creep up! Also power seems to be unreliable as it goes out at least once a day!Building looks a little neglected with lots of hallway lightbulbs not working, and just small issues like paint and cracks on doors. At first glance everything will look fine until you start looking more closely.Breakfast is just your usual complimentary fare of eggs and bacon, bagels, yogurt, juice and coffee. You can make yourself some mini waffles with syrup if that's your preference. I did enjoy the coffee very much.Couldn't access the pool as the room cards don't seem to unlock the gate and staff don't really know why. Wifi is also very spotty at this location as I regularly get disconnected for 30-60 minutes at a time. No water is provided so you'll have to get your own.Showers are nice and large with nice smelling soaps. Unfortunately, no moisturizing lotions but Jackson is fairly humid so you might not need.Beds are large and comfortable with those terrible hotel pillows. It's kind of your no frills residential hotels for a decent price.

The location is great, but the room quality not so much. To save money no thermostat is connected to the heating, we had to sleep in cold with our toddler because there was no maintenance person at night.Rooms: Good size, they've tried to save so much cost that the quality is not good despite it being a newer hotel. The thermostat is for display only, so be prepared to sleep without heat.

Overall, the place is in good condition and clean, but our room had two issues. One, the bathroom door would not shut. The bathroom vent does not work and the moisture from the bathroom warped the door. Also, the TV in the main room didn't work. The front desk was very unhelpful. Their response was something like, we can't fix it, so what do you want us to do? The tv was an issue for my son and the bathroom was a frustration for everyone.

Not sure what happened to this place. But is not what it used to be. I’m a platinum member and this by far has been the worst experience I had in a Marriott properly by far.1) they do not provide water in the room for platinum members2) they do not provide water at the fitness center which by law they have to do.3) the tv at the room does not connect to the internet ( it is capable but it gives a error )4) I ask for a bottle of water at the front desk and they charge me for itAll this and I have been at the hotel for just 2 hours so far. Will not stay here again @marriotbonvoy you need to check this property, for sure is not at the standard of the brand!
