We brought our 2022 chevy due in to the service department due to our GPS not working and was told that it was an onstar module that needed to be changed. It has been well over a month, and the problem has not been resolved. Our rep Fod helped us as best he could and we appreciate him but the problem still remains.

Came for a schedule routine service but now all of my tires are reading from the sensor. Now I have to take more time out of my work day to go back and get it back working. This particular location is terrible about doing things properly and in a timely manner. I’ve been given the run around since the very first day I got my new car. Robert was absolutely no help to me and my grandmother after we signed the papers he ignored all of our concerns and never responded back to anything. I guess that’s a salesman for you. And this is to say the very least. James Archie is great about getting things handled. The staff just seems lost or unable to help everytime I have to come up here. I’ve never left with my problems solved.

I would like to state that the customer service that was extended to me from the service department was the most professional I have ever experienced. It started with Fod Fullerton who showed what helping people in need is first and foremost. My transmission went out on a Saturday and the shop was closed he came in to do some personal thing but instead open up got my truck documented and ready for Monday. I can’t explain how stressed I was but he made the whole situation no so bad. Also Chris who made sure my truck was ready to go so I did not miss that much work due to I live in NC and had to drive back to Mississippi to get my truck. Thanks for make that nightmare not so bad by making me feel like someone was on my side and not just another number in the shop

On 1/19/23, I brought my 2013 Silverado (mileage 103,970) in because the check engine was on. It was determined that the Vent Solenoid was faulty. Cost of service $424.65. The check engine light came on again less than a month after this visit. I called the week of 7/17/23 and made an appointment to returned on 7/25/23 (mileage 105,732) to have the Check engine light and a tune up since it was over 100K miles, thinking that this may be part of the problem. I dropped it off at 7:30am with the impression that it would be ready about 1 pm. I tried to call at noon to see if the truck was ready, left a message and it was not returned. My wife returned to Herrin Gear and waited for the truck at 1 pm. No one was around to answer any questions. She called the phone number on the business card that was given to us. No answer and no return call. Finally about 3 pm, she finds out that the service tech was not finished with the tune up and there was no qualified service tech to look at the Check engine light. This would require the truck to be left overnight. We live in Flora and was told the courtesy vehicle will not transport her home. My wife had to find someone who was not working to transport her to Flora. I repeatedly called on 7/26 to see about the progress but the service advisor did not answer or return my phone calls. I was able to get a ride to Jackson at 4:30 and discovered that the truck had not been worked on. Excuse was short staffed, no qualified tech available. I was not happy and let my service advisor know it. We were called the next day (7/27) telling us that it was ready. My wife picked it up and was told that the check engine light was off and it was not determined what the cause was for the check engine light. He graciously told us that there was no charge for that. Cost of a tune up $758.85. (seems a little bit expensive). The Check Engine light came on again on 8/3/23. One week later. I really do not have the confidence in Herrin Gear service department any more. I had purchased five vehicles from Herrin Gear in the past but do not believe I will do so in the future.Below is: I agree that GM or the dealership can publish my response. Misleading on the estimate of motor mount request which went from $190 to $5900 for all other stuff that I only asked about but did not say fix. I then asked why was i being charged for a recall service to the tune of $192 and in the process they cracked up my dashboard … guess because i refused them to do the $5000 job!Just think i was thinking of trading in my truck and buying a new one from them. NOT NOW!! Disappointed in the place who i have always gave my Avalanche servicing business to.

My experience at this dealership was horrible. First of all, they never answer the phone. I left a voice mail twice and they did not call back. I had to catch a ride to the dealership every time I went up there. The maintenance department kept my car for over 3 weeks. They did not offer to give me a loaner car so I asked and was told that they didn’t have anymore. I checked every single week to see if they had one and I was always denied a loaner car. Over the 3 weeks, they did nothing to my car. When I finally decided to go retrieve my car to take it elsewhere, the manager did tried to convince me to let them keep it. I politely declined and asked for my car back.. I still had to pay 190$ for absolutely nothing. Additionally, there was not a crack in my windshield when I took it there but when I received it back I noticed on the way home there was a crack . I called immediately and of course they did not answer so I had to leave a voicemail. I called again the next day and of course no one answered again. So, I will have to find time once again to go back up there and tell the department about my windshield. My experience at this dealership was the absolute worst! I will never in my life recommend this dealerships maintenance department to anyone.

Our experience at Herrin-Gear was phenomenal. Our salesman, KD made us feel welcome upon greeting us. He jumped right into action and answered every question that we had for him even before we started any paperwork. KD told us he was going to make the process smooth and less stressful as possible. He did just that. I never experienced that before. KD was awesome and I commend him for a job well done along with his manager. Thanks for making our experience a great one!

I was greeted in a warm caring professional manner by a young man named Tandy. He showed care about what my concerns were. I was appreciative of the fact that he seem to care what was going on with my vehicle. He is definitely an asset to Herrin-Gear.

My mom purchased a Chevy Blazer today and the sales team was great! Carlton went out of his way to show my mother how to setup everything in the vehicle and make sure she was ready to 'hit the road'. Great Job!!

We were stranded due to a broken windshield wiper arm and traveling during a stormy time. Herron-Gear fixed the car in under 2 hours and told me it was under recall so I owed $0.Excellent service. Thank you for getting us back on the road.

Worst experience in my entire life. I made an appointment to get my car fixed for a Monday morning, had it towed there costing me $85. By FRIDAY, no word. I call the servicer - left a voicemail. Never returned my phone call. Monday I called - no answer. Left voicemail, call never returned. Tuesday called and spoke to a “boss”, who transferred me directly to the servicer. Guy says he was just listening to my voicemail (ok) and they were behind, they will look at it today or tomorrow and will call me back then with info. Keep in mind it’s already been over a week. Never got a call either day. Wednesday I call, no answer. Voicemail left, call never returned. Friday I call again, guess what - another voicemail. I say forget it, I am going to pay to have it towed somewhere else that will actually look at it. Servicer returns my call (first time) and says he will get a technician to look at it and call me back in 30 mins. I say ok. Never heard back from the guy again. Definitely getting it towed somewhere else now. I have never been jerked around so much in my life. It baffles me to see decent reviews. Totally avoidable experience, but it is what it is. Herrin-Gear Lexus is completely opposite and great. Lesson learned for me, never again

I expected more. I had just purchased a 2015 Malibu and wanted to come to the dealership instead of a quick change spot or the competitor Gray Daniels. I appreciate Dana, for scheduling my appointment and recommending a coupon however upon bringing my car in. The service guy told me what was due based on mileage but when I picked the car up I never saw anything or was told anything about the check engine light that was illuminated when I dropped it off and when I picked it up. So a little disappointed there. This is my son's car. My wife and I drive Acura's so maybe they have us spoiled, as they address all areas of concern known and unknown.
